Anyways.... I thought ape escape 3 was supposed to have come out by now? I'm struggling to find a reason browse the current catalog of backwards compatible titles given that the games paid for (a plethora of psone games) are still nowhere to be found and the only ape escape we currently have is the "worst" one (no soichi terada, no buy).

There's a glut of Ape Escape games Sony could easily just localize and port here for the first time as an HD collection.

Sony has a product for people who want a decent PS2 and PS1 classics catalogue, its called PS3.

I have been literally dying for a release of Ape Escape 3. Sony has been drip-feeding PS2 content slower than Nintendo ever has with their VC.

I would buy something like that, but only if I could actually put any game I want into it, and have it work. I wouldn't want the kind of BS we've got with Nintendo's Classic/Mini Consoles, where you can only play the games included the system. Just give me an actual PS2 with HDMI and PSN support, and I'd be all over that.

You don't know that, though. Don't give up on it if it's something you want. Keep talking about it, keep bringing it up, and keep showing that there is demand for PS1 support on PS4 (of any kind). It's the only way it will eventually happen. You can give up on just being able to play all your PS1 games on PS4 for free, though. Sony wants your $$$.
