Wait, Cersei has a bodyguard who is basically a zombie. Why does she need proof that zombies exist?

Well Zombie was science. White Walkers are magic. Maybe that's why?

Most of the kingdom looks at the army of undead like Boogey Man stories. Just stories to keep kids in check, etc etc.

Crossing Eden

Hello, my name is Yves Guillemot, Vivendi S.A.'s Employee of the Month!
I absolutely loved that scene. The Starks have already tasted betrayal, and these motherfuckers need to be kept in line. But something worried me earlier that pretty much got reinforced in the scene in the great hall. These shit heads are already questioning their choice of Jon as their King, and making statements like they should have chosen Sansa instead. If they ever find out Jon is a legitimate Targaryen, and that Lyanna was never kidnapped but was married to Prince Rhaegar Targaryen...oh boy.

We're going to need Arya on standby that day lol.
Ain't that the truth.

This is the face of someone who genuinely doesn't have the emotional capacity to give any fucks anymore:

Cersei's full madqueen mode and thus is acting completely irrationally. She just wants a win.

That moment with Jon and Dany when they leave.

"If I don't return, at least you won't have to deal with the King in the North anymore."

"I've grown used to him."

yeah, whatever that means. used to what? having another person be a monarch? just having another person around as counsel?

Man, what a choppy episode. Everything is happening so, so fast like they are running out of major time.

Im also confused about the plan with Jon. Are they going all the way to confront the army to find one wight? How does that not imply that the dead can march through the wall within days?

Holy shit at the compression of this episode, so many artifacts during the night or cave scenes, my satilette provider is pure shit (Bell TV).

What the fuck was that Arya and Sansa scene? Why is Arya being such a bitch?

Also, somebody please kill Jon Snow. Oh my God what a fucking awful character I cant take it anymore ffs

Ps: Cersei is my animal spirit, slay queen

LOL

Yeah lol.

they're all probably gonna hate Dany too but if Jon's got her pregnant then I think Arya will be loyal to Dany, and protect her coz it'd be what Jon wants.

Yeah thats major foreshadowing that Jon and Daenarys will get rockin at some point. The Targaryens have kids with each othet and Jon will realize late that he slept with his aunt.

It doesn't seem entirely convincing that Jon wants to, though. Dany for sure but not Jon even though he's attracted to her.

Also, the use of fast travel is on full force this season, Jesus

There were multiple hints this episode that more than a month of time has passed, which explains the "fast travel". I swear, I really don't understand why people WANT to see quick 30 second scenes of people getting on a boat, 5 seconds of on the sea, and 15 seconds of getting off the boat.

Just because Cersei knows zombies can exist doesn't mean:
  • She believes there are "naturally" occurring ones
  • That they exist over the wall
  • That they are coming for the Seven Kingdoms
  • That they are even a threat even if all of the above
--------------------

What was the significance with the little scroll Arya took? It was something Sansa wrote about telling her brothers to bend the knee to Joffrey? Why is that important?

Angry Grimace

Two cannibals are eating a clown. One turns to the other and says "does something taste funny to you?"
Good setup episode but I felt like dropping the Rhaegar stuff that way was a little weird. On the one hand, it's such a ridiculous reveal I'm not sure how else you could do it without it being insanely melodramatic; on the other, Gilly randomly reading a book and finding it seemed absurdly convenient.

Bro, you know damn well what she means lol. She already sees Jon as a potential habibi, she's just waiting for Jon to get around to calling her his habibiti ;)

"I was getting used to him" is code for, "you best be coming back to me King in the North!"

The scene with Jon and the Dragon was terrible. Jon shows no sense of being freaked out after the fact, and Dany just HAPPENS to be rolling in and looks over from her obviously green screened mount like "Oh? What's all this then?"

And then she doesn't even remark on how the dragons are pretty chill around Jon. Im really disappointed with the pacing and reveals like this because I feel they should be more important.

Also, did Cersei know Tyrion was in the house? Why would she allow the meeting to happen?

The producers mentioned this off season they gave up on the travel time aspect, it took too much time to travel and it would be boring and slow paced. It's only going to get worse IMO.

You could argue it's badly paced storytelling or a lack of episodes to finish the show.

I actually didn't know that word existed. Also, apparently Jon Snow still knows nothing. I don't think he's aware how much Dany wants him.

I fucking hate the "kind hero look at me I do everything right my morals are perfect" kind of character

Cersei is such a better character it is not even funny

She's an awful character that was portrayed on the show as a dunce who thinks they are smarter than they are. The show made a point to constantly point it out. Her father even mentions it a couple of times in the first season. After last season, they don't really know what to do with her, so now we're supposed to take her as a mastermind. Give me a break.

Tarly (after tonight's episode especially) is proving to be more interesting.

So from the looks of this show, is there a possibility that the Night King saga ends before this series is over? Like the whole Night King quest ends midway into next season and then one side turns on one another with a swerve? Or do we all think this ends with Night King being final boss still?

Dammit I added an extra "i" lol. It's habibti. I always giggle when dude's call their girls habibi due to it technically being the masculine version of the word. He think his comments to Ser Davos last episode indicates he's growing feelings as well.
