Didn't three dragons leave with Dany? Why did I only see 2 beyond the wall? Maybe my sleepiness was making me miss things.

Damn these wight dragon memes are suspiciously fast.

In the preview there's
a shot with Podrick. Is that Brienne in the back by Davos? It would have been amazing if Arya and Sansa just had Brienne go out of town a short distance but still be near to help with LF. But nah I think she actually went south.

What a weird coincidence that everyone """"predicted"""" that the dragon would be killed and resurrected by the Whitewalkers.

I mean to be fair, people predicted that since the first season.

A lesson for you whiny man-babies:

Suspension of Disbelief

The term suspension of disbelief or willing suspension of disbelief has been defined as a willingness to suspend one's critical faculties and believe the unbelievable; sacrifice of realism and logic for the sake of enjoyment.[1]

The term was coined in 1817 by the poet and aesthetic philosopher Samuel Taylor Coleridge, who suggested that if a writer could infuse a "human interest and a semblance of truth" into a fantastic tale, the reader would suspend judgement concerning the implausibility of the narrative.

Suspension of disbelief often applies to fictional works of the action, comedy, fantasy, and horror genres. Cognitive estrangement in fiction involves using a person's ignorance to promote suspension of disbelief.

If the Night King can literally throw an ice spear like it's being racked on Scorpion, why didn't they just throw a bunch of those things at the raid group and impale them on the rock, which they are forced to stay on because of the army of the dead surrounding them?

Probably limited ammo and saving it for when he really needs it.

He was in no rush.

Sansa continues to keep getting played. I really hope all of that is just Arya's way of getting one over on Little finger. Like how many more times can Sansa continue to get manipulated by Little finger? Ugh.

Not bitter, just unsweetened
This show has jumped the shark so to speak.

Jon and Co. should have been dead. At the very least, Tormund and Jon should be KIA.

They should have had a more visual choke point to make that fight reasonable and survivable, too much open space for them to get easily surrounded and killed.

If the Night King can literally throw an ice spear like it's being racked on Scorpion, why didn't they just throw a bunch of those things at the raid group and impale them on the rock, which they are forced to stay on because of the army of the dead surrounding them?

Benjin literally coming out of thin air is ridiculous, and made me roll my eyes. Not even going to talk about the time warping. They were on that rock like, what, five days at least for the dragons to get there?

All this effort and spectacle and it's so braindead. Uhg.

Remember, the night king shares the abilities of the three eye raven as far as we know.

His intent could have been a dragon from the very beginning.

You don't make a universe with dragons and undead and NOT have frost wyrms.

Speaking of which, I think Night King's frost wyrm and Dany's 3rd dragon that no one cares about (let's call him Ringo) are gonna end up taking each other out

It wasn't a time jump though, that's what people are complaining about

Yeah a time jump would have been ok. If they'd shown Dany in transit already or if the team was hunkered down in a cave out of sight of the whole undead army where they could wait it out it woulda been cool.

This was just really poorly conceived.

The Night King waited for this.
Chains? WW squad plant with 1 wight not belonging to that particular WW?
Spears in hand?

He knew what was going to happen. Oh my God..

All this Dragon and Zombie shit, am I the only one having a hard time believing Jons ABS? They were like sculpted from stone, LOL.

semen stains the mountaintops
The Arya plotline pretty much confirmed that she had lost her goddamn mind in Braavos like it was speculated back in season 6. The campfire scene this season made it seem like maybe there was still something there but nope, she cray af.

Yo, my mind is blown.
The Night King must've been a Greenseer, he must've.

Every attack he's done so far went perfect for him. Hardhome? 3ER's cave? Including this one.
Everything was well planned and executed almost perfectly. Now I'm convinced he waited for Bran to "visit" him and his army before branding him and destroying the cave.
I'm even more convinced after looking at that WW and his squad of Wights marching with 1 of them not even belonging to the group. It was a plant.
Then you have the spears and chains, getting himself a dragon.
HE KNEW.

Plus, I'm not sure of this yet because I'll have to revisit episode 5.
But when Bran warged those ravens and went North of the Wall,I'm almost certain that the area where they were at was the same cliff they led Jon and the squad into.

So is Dragonstone only a few minutes away from Eastwatch?
Ravens reaching Dragonstone, Dany coming to the rescue while the group of heroes stranded on an island on a frozen lake without freezeing their asses off

Logic thrown out

It's a show about dead people, dragons and shit. Things are moving at a fast pace and thank God for it. The show is so much better without all the filler now that we know these are the last two seasons

It's become a show about dead people, dragons and shit. That's not why I started watching or why I enjoy the show. I watch for the scheming and political intrigue and now I'm just along for the ride.
