You want everything cheap? Which platform?

I think that you'll just have to buy every Season Pass for them.

season 1 and 2 just one of thejm, cause i already own all the base game operator.
Also, i have onether issue on pc:
I see different view while in game and in replay, so enemy team can kill me whyle i dont see i already pass the corner...but i have 80 ping!

Glaz can fire through the airplane windows, right? Just not break them?

Yeah they won't break. You'll just get hit by random bullets that seem to come from nowhere. Also it's poorly designed because going prone doesn't always keep the top of your head out of view, especially now that he has thermal.

I feel kind of stupid for not knowing this given how long I've been playing but until i watched This Video I did not fully understand how much Rook's armour plating helps, because there's certain things I didn't get about hitboxes and damage modifiers, and also if I'm not mistaken, a player with a Rook plate on is guaranteed a DBNO effect from shots to anywhere but the head.

Now that I'm using Rook I'm getting some great results. Oddly enough I find I can flank with him really well using the SG-CQB. On perhaps 4-5 occasions in the last two days of matches I've been in a position to quickly kill three operators in under ten seconds. A common theme in these situations was "I got lucky, they should have killed me" but I genuinely suspect that people don't react as quickly when a teammate is killed in a single shot the way they would if they came under rapid fire. If you don't see it happen with your own eyes then you're relying on your ears and the kill feed to alert you. At the right range there is no faster TTK than a single shotgun blast and the noise that makes is quite possibly less alarming than several from an automatic.

I still argue with a friend about Rook. We've been playing since launch and he thinks he's the most useless operator, but I try to remind him that with Rook, his main roamers like Jager, Bandit, or Caveira are the biggest benefactors of the armor due to being more viable as killing machines in a one-on-one firefight if it occurs, not just if you manage to flank or peak.. I think because there isn't a visual that it's working he thinks it never does or something, I don't know.

plane is the worst map

I both agree and disagree.

I like plane and house because they're very different in structure than all the others, but they're not maps that lend themselves to a variety of tactics so the amount of fun to be had is subjective.

Alternatively, I love Favela because it's also structurally different than the others, but also lends itself to a whole bunch of tactics; it seems to be the most hated map from my experience though.

That's a funny way to spell Bartlett University.

One of the reasons I love this game is that I am still learning new tricks. There's a drone hole on Kafe Dovstoyesky you can use to shoot into the reading room, killed three people in one round doing that. Or where to plant with Fuze to get people/gadgets in snowmobile garage on Chalet or garage on Consulate.

fuze is such a troll move against a unexperienced team.

Very true, I recently discovered on coastline that there is a drone whole by the bathrooms off of the kitchen that you can often shoot somebody camping in the last stall, and now that's the first place I look when people are doing bomb in that location. If you just think outside the box a little bit then try a new entrances sometimes you can get great flanking positions on rumors and things that I never would've thought to consider before. And that's what makes the core concept of the game so strong.

Also I love Bartlett lol. It's amazing to me though the amount of times I can get kills on people repelling into classroom or congregating in front of the first floor window from the opposite side, that's always the first place I look when the game starts because of how often I've gotten killed doing that. I'm not talking about brand new players either, it's usually people it seems like they've been around a while, but you can always generally pick off or at least really wound one or more people.

I don't mind Bartlett on the inside but it's the entry points that piss me off, there's pretty much nowhere you can jump in where you're not in somebody's sightline. Maybe, kitchen or the connector between library and classroom.

I think Kafe is the same, to be honest except the inside of Kafe is one of the best maps.

i had a blast playing with PS4 gaf. How's operation health and is PS4 gaf still actively playing this?

What the fuck is up with shotguns? Shot an attacker 1m away with my SAS shotty and the dude survived and ended killing me. Even if you spray at the body with the SMG, I think the DPS outweighs the DPS of shotty by far.

Operation Health is kind of a mixed bag in terms of rollout and communication, but overall it has led to some really good things. New operators soon, all the operators so far have been great at changing up the game imo.

PS4 community is very healthy, no issues finding a game, but I'd recommend Ranked due to the toxic casual community.

In Operation Blood Orchid, two Operators from the Special Duties Unit (S.D.U.) join Team Rainbow to raid the criminal organization squatting our new free map, Theme Park.

Nicknamed the “Flying Tigers,” the S.D.U. has been listed among the most potent Special Forces in the world ever since its activation in 1974. The unit leads both police and military operations, over sea, air, and land.

To showcase our new Operator, Scriptwriter Farah Daoud-Brixi discussed what inspired Lesion’s character: “Originally modeled on the British Special Air Service, the S.D.U. has since developed their own training and methods. It is this edge that we wanted to capture with Lesion, who strikes unexpectedly and gains intensity with time.”

Liu Tze Long, codenamed Lesion, is the latest addition to Team Rainbow. His resilience to physical hardships is what set him apart from other candidates. “He was one of the three Operators who was able to withstand an extreme version of the S.A.S.’ Resistance to Interrogation Program,” said Daoud-Brixi.

Lesion is known to take his work seriously, and to expose himself to high-risk situations on a daily basis. This lack of consideration for his well-being has been judged as arrogant by some, and has often alienated him from his peers. But this natural drive to withstand difficult situations is also what pushed him to volunteer for mine disposal duty, which launched his career.

Lesion’s first operation was lead in Indonesia, Op. Green Viper. The laptop of a Malaysian physicist, who had recently joined an extremist group, was found in Macau. Its data revealed research on a biological weapon consisting of a bubonic plague bacteria obtained from animals. Liu teamed up with two S.A.S Operators, codenamed Smoke and Thatcher, to infiltrate the physicist’s laboratory and neutralize every trace of the substance. As this was Lesion’s first successful mission, the trio stayed an extra day in Macau and filed the event as an off-duty bonus.

Representing Hong Kong’s Special Forces, Lesion will be wielding the T-5 SMG and SIX12 SD as primary weapons, and the Q-929 as a secondary weapon.

Thanks. I got on a little bit and played some solo terrorist hunt to get back in the swing of things. Strange casual is more toxic than ranked. I would of thought the opposite.

Kafe is a well designed map, like you said. Bartlett is just a very bad map. I can't put my finger on why it's a bad map, it just has no flow to it or something.

Really though they've been bad for a while. Srsly, look at Capitão's.
During a raid on the Terceiro Comando Puro with CORE, Souza was ambushed as he cleared a house in Senador Camará. Two months later, CORE was able to extract Souza and three other hostages during a rescue operation, however, the damage to Souza's body was done.

There were talks of removing him from the field. In the meantime, CORE was looking for field operatives to test new gears, and Souza saw his chance. His stoicism and unique tactical method then turned him into a local icon.

That's when BOPE made him an offer, seeing in him their unit's spirit, 'victory over death'. Souza could not turn them down; it meant working in the favela where his gear would lessen casualties.
Why would a dossier include dramatic language like that? If it's meant to read like a military document why does it sound like a movie trailer?

The characters in the game are meant to be fun and allow creativity for the community. Lots of fun Siege comics and stuff like that out there. It's cool with me

Damn, that was a fun comeback https://youtu.be/0F3hUtXsWZ8

nice! Love watching clips of Siege, you guys should post more.

So, just today, I almost had an ace but ran into, for my first REAL time in 500 hours, a massive bug.

I saw Blitz and put an entire clip in him. He was standing perfectly still.

Didn't register shit.

Went to kill everyone but him and one more, and somehow, I died by him, as he had teleported somewhere else to the map, yet he was invisible to me.

I was so damn mad because it could have been my first ace ever. I have to show u guys the clip because I couldnt believe it

What-the-fuck-ever.

The vanilla characters' bios were concise. Brevity usually provides a better jumping-off point. Less is more and all that. I think the longevity of the vanilla characters' popularity vindicates that.

Post-Dust Line they feel elongated and over-dramaticized. I presume it's an effort to compensate for the downloadable characters' lack of videos, but I don't think it works in favor. It mostly just clashes with the original style.

For you Game of Thrones heads, the DLC characters' bios are like the protracted titles of Westerosi leaders.

"This is Yumiko 'Hibana' Imagawa,
The First of Her Name,
Agent of the SAT,
Attacker of the Realm,
Fourth Lady of the First Year,
Breaker of Games,
And Maker of Big Fucking Holes"

Sir Davos: "This is Mute. He has jammers..."

Hey people fuck all the time, I see people doing it on the streets, being in a relationship isn't unrealistic, I don't see why operators can't do that.
I'm just teasing with this shitpost.

Those tactical shorts are too good.

This getting so dumb, haha.

Can't wait to read about Ying fell in love with Doc's eyes.

Some news dropped on the PlayStation blog:

https://blog.us.playstation.com/201...us-weekend-5-tips-for-operation-blood-orchid/

  1. Ying, the new attacker, has a small spherical charge that ejects flashbangs into the air when it detonates, blinding nearby enemies. It can be thrown like a grenade, or placed on a breachable wall so that it shoots flashbangs through to the other side, but the key is in the timing. Prime the charge for a few seconds and place it on a wall, and it will delay the detonation so you have time to line up your entry. Prime it and throw it, and it will roll along the ground before detonating, allowing you to flash enemies hiding in out-of-the-way places. The best part? Ying is shielded from her own flashes, so you can rush in and take out your foes while they’re still recovering their sight.
  2. Lesion, one of the new defenders, can throw poison needle traps that deploy on the ground and cloak themselves, making them all but invisible to the naked eye. When an enemy steps on one, their vision turns a queasy green and they start taking damage. Poisoned foes can either back away to recover, delaying their advance, or pause to remove the needle, leaving them temporary vulnerable. Throwing these near doors and windows early is a good setup strategy, but Lesion gains more traps over time, so be sure to continue placing them as the round progresses to make things even more dangerous for your enemies.
  3. Ela, the other new defender, has traps to deploy as well, though hers are proximity concussion mines that detonate when an enemy is nearby. These can be placed on floors, walls, and ceilings to defend entrances to the objective area, or to set an ambush for flanking enemies. Ela is speedy, so lie in wait around the corner and when you hear your mine explode, rush in to take care of your dazed and disoriented prey. And if she happens to get downed, she’s got one more trick up her sleeve—a mine she carries on her person that she can trigger, giving her allies a chance to smite her attacker (while they’re disoriented) and revive her.
  4. Blood Orchid is also bringing a host of new updates to the game, including one that will greatly increase the attacking team’s intel-gathering capacity. Now attackers will be able to have both of their scouting drones deployed at the same time, and they can switch between the two at will. This effectively doubles the amount of camera feeds the attackers can set up, and in a game where knowledge is power, clever drone placement can be very powerful indeed.
  5. The Theme Park map brings a fantastical array of room designs for players to explore, from bustling arcades to a tomb full of gargoyles. A ground cable circling the first-floor rooms can help you get oriented, and be sure to find a quiet moment to visit the fortune-teller machine and heed his words of wisdom.

Last Stand. We COD now.

"The Malaysian night was sultry, watching her fellow operators do what they did best had driven her mad all evening. As Ash dropshotted on to Capitao naked chest, knocking several Alpha Packs off the nightstand..."

Lesion gains more traps over time? What do, they reproduce or something?

I like his shorts but not his shoes. What's wrong with combat boots?

Lastly, I want to hear more about Lesion, Smoke and Thatcher's drunken escapades.

"What's in the cannister?"
"Fookin' laser sights."

Not sure why the bios are a big deal to you guys. Its not like it affects the multiplayer and there is no single player component that is hurt by random intel facts.

I mean, Tachanka has "Lord" written on his turret and ACOGs were removed from SMG-11 because the operators met up and signed a lease. Its all just in fun

Uhh, that's a pretty big deal.

"nerf ash"

Its not a damage mine, but a disorientation mine. Ela sounds like a really annoying roamer

They have a refill like Echo. So if he has one destroyed he can refill another onr

And now we can have 10 drones at once.

ACOG OFF BANDIT AND JAEGER CONFIRMED by multiple sources now. Season seems Very focused on defenders relying on gadgets, while attackers are dependent on their versatility

I know, it's still putting a second chance in the hands of someone who's already been downed. It's more than likely that 90% of the encounters with her will either end with her getting headshot or immediately shot after being downed anyway.

those are some news, we meta change now.

i wonder how many of those are electronics so IQ/Tatcher and Mute will become even more powerful operators.

All of them are, except for the Ela mines I imagine. And Ying can throw her gadget so its be countered bu Jaeger instead

Jaegers gonna need a buff to his gadgets.

Its nice that this meta change seems to still allow older operators to stick around (acogs on doc and rook are big), while reinforcing others like twitch and thatcher

As for nerfs, hibana and Ash both need one. Thermite is just not a good pick over Hibana.

Im hoping mute gets a buff to be able to place his shit on walls.

And capitao and iq need some good buffs.

I hope they buff shotguns. Seems like they never find equilibrium with their guns in this game

Hibana is just too useful compared to Thermite, whose pickrate has dropped a lot.

I think Mute jamming hatches should be good enough

Having done some urban combat training as part of my reserve army training, seeing someone in shorts fucking hurts. I was in army gear and had knee pads to boot, but I still have flashbacks of how much it hurt when I had to go prone suddenly.
