So where is the Steam version of MGS2?

What did the Nvidia shield ever do to deserve such a game? Who even cares about that device?

Dammit this is wrong SteamGAF

This whole thing is so fucking wrong. This is like something Kojima would do to troll PC gamers.

Finished NuPrey. Great game though quite a few bugs and the ending was a little bit rushed. Any places where I can get OldPrey other than Kinguin or G2A? I have the 360 version but never played and probably never will.

I am not sure how "Legit" play-asia is for these keys, but I bought it a few months ago from HERE and it worked. Also if the companies that own these games dont want to sell us copies is it even frowned upon to buy them from 3rd party sellers? Like I would buy it on Steam if they had it on there.

Keep in mind this game has absolutely nothing to do with Prey 2017.

Metal Gear Fans can be in the same boat as Silent Hill fans with Steam, in fact MGS fans have it better. The only Silent Hill game on Steam is a shoddy port of Silent Hill Homecoming of all fucking thing, while there's actually pretty good but rare and expensive PC ports of Silent Hill 2, 3, & 4 Konami made back in the day but seem to refuse to update and bring to Steam.

If the PS360 fiasco is anything to go by, it's likely due to Voice acting royalities or licensing issues.

The keys from boxed copies will activate on steam, so I bought one on eBay. However, unless you are sure it is a sealed copy it's a bit of a dice roll that the key is unused.

Oh, goodie. I have to change my Bethesda.net password because Quake Champions' login form doesn't accept special characters.

Edit:
8 character minimum. At least one: Upper case letter; lower case letter; and symbol OR number. Cannot contain username.

Great advice there, Bethesda.

I'd love to replay an updated Silent Hill 3 on PC. I'm not an horror fan but I really liked that one and it looked so good on a puny PS2.

Crusader Kings 2 is going to China. Kinda.

In Crusader Kings II: Jade Dragon, Paradox Development Studio introduces the Empire of China as an off-map influence that can give great rewards or great dangers to those whose realms lie in the shadow of the Dragon. Flatter the Emperor with gifts of gold or concubines. Ask favors from the mighty prince. Stay on the good side of his appointed marshals on your borders.

What’s the old saying about crisis being both “danger” and “opportunity”?

Features coming in Crusader Kings II: Jade Dragon include:
The Imperial Majesty Request: A new “China Screen” lays out the status and desires of the Emperor of China, letting you keep tabs on what he wants and how to earn his grace
Kow-tow For Now: Submit to the Empire as a tributary, always keeping an eye on the waning power of the Emperor, so you can time your escape to freedom
Adventure in the Great Wide Somewhere: Disgruntled princes or curious adventurers may leave China to seek their own fortune to the west.
Booty and the East: Collect wondrous new Chinese artifacts for your characters, and explore a new Silk Road system that adjusts returns based on China’s stability.
Rally Points: Instruct your levies to automatically gather up exactly where you want them.
Dictionary of Chinese Characters: New Chinese and Tibetan portraits and Chinese units bring the empire to life
Eight New Casus Bellis: You can never have enough

From what I understood, the Nvidia ports of MGS titles are done by an external company hired from Nvidia, so probably the only thing Konami did was signing some papers to give the ok on doing those ports.

Yep, that seems to be the case but Konami should know that they're losing money not releasing both HD sagas (MGS and SH) on Steam.

I hope that bomberman's success has teach them something (I know, I know...)

That's probably a big part of it, but if they set their mind to it I'm sure it could happen. But probably never will.

The Silent Hill 3 PC port is actually the best one too. Silent Hill 2 & Silent Hill 4 have ports done by third parties, they're good ports but Silent Hill 3's was actually done by Team Silent, and it shows. Lots of things redone by Team Silent to look even better than the PS2 version by Team Silent themselves, including new effects, new touches, and PC options that work really well for the title.

A handful of reviews suddenly sprang up for War of the Chosen, but not as many as I would expect. I wonder if there was some embargo confusion.

Whoa that PC Gamer Top 100 thread.

Why are people so narcissistic & insecure?

Can't deny the Popcorn Factor though.

Eh, PC Gamer shouldn't have such a powerful voice. I worry about its detrimental effect on newbie PC gamers.

Article's purpose seems split between ad revenue over 13 pages and advertising the newest, most expensive games.

Then the list is 100% wrong.
But since Dark Souls is No. 2 that places Trails in the Sky at No. 1 by extension, so I'm kinda ok with it.

Dark Souls is great on PC because of Durante,
and Durante made the Cold Steel port, so it can be argued that Cold Steel also deserves the No. 2 spot and since Trails in the Sky is better than Cold Steel it gets the No. 1 place.
I think the logic checks out.

Anyone know how strict the European Blizzard keys are? Can I VPN a Destiny 2 key on my Canadian Battle.net account or should I just pay the $10 premium because Canada sucks (CDKeys is currently $54CAD and GMG is $64CAD)

Here is the Activision policy "The Retail PC version of Destiny 2 can only be activated in the region in which it was purchased."

The Steam equivalent of the drunk friend who keeps offering to pay your tab all night.
so this XCOM War of the Chosen is another Enemy Within (or DD Crimson Court) situation where its not actually a follow up, but a revamp of the main game?

Like, one would have to start a new game over right?

I don't really need a tag, but I figured I'd get one to make people jealous. Is it working?

The comparisons I've heard are that it's like a Long War mod and thus a new game would be required, yeah.

Is there a source for that? Like in the ending credits or something?

Because it kind makes zero sense for Konami to shop around MGS2 like that but not release it on Steam. or PS4, Xbox etc.
