Wow, just reading through the last couple pages have confirmed the fears I had, based on my own Splatfest session... Team Invisibility got mopped up!

I must have lost early 80% of my matches up to Invisibility Champion rank. I was only able to play in handheld mode up to that point, but still; there was almost always a clear skill-level gulf between our team and theirs.

Once I was able to play in TV mode with my pro controller, that win percentage was inverted, but still, Team flight was amlost always putting up a good fight. Even after reaching invisibility Queen, I continued playing - for a couple hours or so -to make up for my prior losses. Last I checked, it was exactly 25/25(wins/losses). I think I ended it there.

This was my toughest Splatfest yet(including those from Splatoon 1). Good job team Flight! I'm sure you wrecked us...

I don't understand, I have a completely different feeling (easiest Splatfest for me including S1), reached Queen with 23:17 because of an awful start (till I reached ~1750), and my last 15 were 14:1.

I haven't felt, from the talks here, that the match was that one-sided either?

I love them in rank, but I can understand why people don't like them in turf wars (though I still enjoy them there)

While it will cost you more, you should scrap it every time you unlock the first ability. You earn gold so easily anyway you'll still make a profit at the end.

This only applies to the fest shirt. With regular items you're better off grinding all three slots before wiping it.

My first Splatfest and I must confess it works very well, better than expected : the festival setting, the "choose your side"...it creates a really compelling experience. I only had one connection problem, it went smooth most of the time. I am on team Flight and had quite a few loss and quite a few win (a bit more loss than win). I was expecting a much "hardcore" and frustrating experience for a newbie like me but the game is surprisingly fun even for a beginner. After 40 years of gaming, I have also discovered the competitor inside me with this game lol

I normally hate competitive games Splatoon is the only competitive game i really enjoy and where i can be good at lol.

But seriously Splatfests are one of the best multiplayer experiences ever it works so well and i can see why Japan finally loves a Shooter game like crazy games oozes crazy charm and the characters are very likeable especially the idols.

That and those awesome meme/community posts make Splatoon for me the GOAT multiplayer game.

These and some of the other reasons i like Splatoon and cuz the games helped me through a depressive and stressfull period i my life with my father getting ill is why i am getting Squid Sisters and a Marina tattoo (squid sisters on back and marina on calf).

One of the only games to really draw me into it like crazy.

They need to fucking fix the Sloshing Machine in Salmon Run, it's clearly bugged so you can't res people for shit with it. Second time I've had a wipe because of that.

Salmon run during Splatfest is really efficient... I guess good players are kings/queens and done with turf wars...

I crushed team invisible last night. I went 33-17 in my last 50.

I guess you could say, They didnt show up.

Yeaaahhhhhhhh!

#TeamFLIGHT!

P.S. I really enjoyed the changes in Shifty Station this time around. Was fun to play on. :)

I easily spot squids but a ninja gave me hard time couple of nights ago. So I'd say it was very useful for them ; )

(Though we managed to kill the 6th, but the 7th was denying us access to the basket. It was close, so it's doable... Still, that must be the hardest task I've seen in SR)

Well, if you're two, the requirement would be lower... I've yet to do SR with two disconnections, but if you can avoid wipes, it's easier with 3 than with 4...

Made it to Invisibility Queen (i'm a guy tho lol) finally well that was some fun another fanfuckingtastic Splatfest:) time for a Small Break and then do a final couple of Splatfest games and then do Salmon Run for a while.

And after that play some more of Splatoon 1 for dat level 50 goal before Miiverse dies.

Bah didnt realise the splatfest was on this weekend. So I'll probably only get to the second rank, lol.

Edit: Well I managed to do 3 matches before the end. Won all three for team flight and got to the second rank so that's something.

I've hit super fresh multiple times. Had loses due to my teammates disconnecting.

Made it to Champion on the last game before the splatfest ended. Yay! But given how my Invisibility teammates played I'm expecting a big loss.

Got 32-12 for team inv, it was pretty one sided for all the Splatfest except for a 5-lose streak I had yesterday. Also, I got almost immediate matches during all the Splatfest and didn´t have to fight another Invisibility team not even once, so I´m guessing popularity vote will go to Flight, but I hope Inv steamrolls on wins. I´m EU.

The X menu in the plazza or in halls I'd guess... It allows you to go to shops, main hall, SR hall. But I didn't know you could access the counter this way? (one of the annoying things is that you can claim rewards or scrub you gear without walking half the plazza, unless I'm mistaken, so I'm interested)

Only had time to get to Champion. Loved the look of the ink though. Hopefully have enough time to get to Queen/King next time as sea snails are so useful. Wish we could add slots with coins.
