Haven't really seen anyone point out the blurry image in the Introduction vid on the Abandoned app, unless I missed it. Anyway, it's of a dark nasty looking room with a single door in the middle and a single table at the back of the room. Reminds me of the starting room in PT.

That thing is such a Kojima troll. Last time Hasan said he made the app, because it would be cheaper to show the game in realtime compared to making a trailer and yet, we will get a cinematic reveal trailer (well at least according to the app).

Hasan is clearly inspired by PT and Kojipro, ever since the Rewind project ages ago. Kojima has its own stuff going on right now, constantly posting the time of day with the clock at 54 minutes. I still think both are unrelated. Kojima is also reported to be in cahoots with MS at some capacity.
Hasan has too much of a backstory with questionable stuff and doesn''t meet deadlines time and time again. It would be a risky form of promotion. And it takes way too long. Take away the connection, and Abandoned is just another indie that over promises and under delivers so far. Without the connection no one would give a shit.

This isn't the same thing though. As you said Hasan having a backstory and missing deadlines makes it different. We know for a fact the patch wasn't uploaded on the day it was supposed to. Kojima said he was suprised people solved PT so quickly. Its not a stretch to imagine Kojima stepping up his game for this. Geoff and the Future Game Show are probably the most blatant clues we've seen.

But wouldn’t such a big announcement fit better into Opening Night live? I know that the future game show had that suspicious wording, but I thought Future Game show is more for Indies. Or they still play the indie game by then, say Hasan would be there to promote the game but instead Kojima comes out (if they even have a physical stage).
The special edition of the game should ship with a DVD, where we can see some behind the scenes footage of Kojima doing his little tricks.

I don’t know if it’s just my mind trying to make connections, but it does seem like these tweets where Kojima is talking about Death Stranding could also apply to Abandoned.
A closer look at movement? Walking scene taken almost as close as possible? It makes sense from a Death Stranding perspective but also seems like it could apply to the Abandoned teaser.

this is a video form one of the many YT Channels that somehow are loosely connected to that whole Abandoned story.
Take a look at the shadows, there is something wrong with them ... there are no shadows where one would expect them (fence casting no shadows) or some shadows seem to dark or "flying" mid air (at arround 12 sec. in.)...
