Kagete and (sort of) Procarbine are the only two people that I can safely say are actually genuinely nice people. And no I can't say that for myself until I learn to not giving into my emotions this easily. Then again I haven't been able to do that for 4 years. Its a no-stats game between friends, where you can play against people of all skill ranges. Still learn and still have fun.

Playing against all of the 1800+ guys recently has actually helped me quite a bit I think at improving. It sucks if your getting destroyed and you get some banter, but for me its fun because you can actually banter back. They're aren't many games where I get to give some shit to an 1800+ player for killing them, or making a big move - especially when I play at a barely 1600 level, and they would destroy me at any other time.

'Why so serious' has never been more appropriate.
Just get some kills and give people banter back.

Also the drama seems to be amplified on the forums for some reason.

Being very pessimistic here, but I'm strongly doubting Dota 2 will be this week, looking at Luminous's casting of his Dota 2 beta, there's still a bunch of stuff that needs to be fixed. Names all messed up, moonwalking Furion. But at least there's some new things like water ripples and splash on water, buildings destroying correctly.

Whenever it does come out though, I'm only going to play whenever my wife goes to school or her clinical. Which means Thursday 6am to 6pm and Wednesday 12pm to 3pm.
