Anyone found a way to get Valkyria Chronicles 2 up and running on a Vita? I don't own it yet. If I download it on my PS3 and then try to transfer it to my Vita, will that work?

Yeah, It works fine. Just dl it on the PS3 and copy it over. Be sure to buy the bundle, it has all the DLC and is 20 bucks cheaper.

that's hot. I'd have to get that at some point. Alas, I went ahead and cancelled my pre-order this morning. While OT's can seemingly get an Eskimo excited about buying snow cones, it's the vibe I get outside of this OT and offline from friends that makes me worry a bit. With Gravity Rush--the only demo that I enjoyed--being delayed until May and the iPad 3 imminent, I think I'll wait and see what happens in the mobile gaming space between now and E3. If the Vita is coming along nicely, I'll look forward to jumping back in...with the grips above!

I will be shocked if the iPad 3 is nothing more than an incremental upgrade. We have seen the same thing from apple year after year.

Anyways sounds like Gravity Rush is your main game so I think it is a good decision to take a wait and see approach, and you never know what type of sales will happen by then and you know there will be plenty of OS improvements by then. However, I wouldn't worry much about threads outside of this one. If you want one then get one, there will be plenty of games to be had for years to come.

It's actually bad timing, that I'm getting a PS Vita and games by Monday, and then PlanetAxel probably won't send the memory card until sometime next week.

I can't save in my games if I got no memory card right? Or is it only some of them?

I think some of them that require a memory card won't even startup without one. I could be going off of old info though.

If I recall correctly, Sony have said the 3G connection would only ever be used for updates and downloading from the PSN.

In theory it's possible, but in practice it would be awful.

I played a bit with the system at an event near my home.

-OMG at the screen. Even at a bright environment it looked perfect.
-OS is good. Nice multitasking-you can see tiny icons of the open apps at the top and if you press the ps button you can see all of them and swipe to choose one.
-WipeOut great as usual.
-Modnation is really good looking with a lot of features but it had some bad loading times. Why? I thought Vita wouldn't have this problem...
-There are also some welcome games where you try the Vita's features.

Amazing piece of tech. Put anything next to it and it will look like a joke.

But I'll wait a bit before I jump in. No money and I'm not dying to play any of the current games.

I played Little Deviants and Welcome Park for about a half hour (maybe a little longer) last night and then just left it by my bed all night without charging it. Just woke up a little bit ago and the battery bar is still full

The membership ties that card right to Plus instead of generic funds. It makes sense when you think about it.

Yes that will work. I am playing it on my Vita right now. I wonder why you cannot just download certain games straight to the vita without using the PS3?

it's interesting to read which team come up with which Vita features. I guess that's part of reason why game like Ruin have cloud save feature while no other game use it etc. I hope moving forward from now on, developer will better utilize Vita features in a more inclusive way for all Vita games, like cross platform play becoming standard etc.

What are the benefits of PS+ for a person with just a Vita?

Also, noticed something neat in the Gravity Daze Live Area that I didn't see in my North American titles. In your activities list, which shows you and your friends' activities in the game (unlocking trophies, buying DLC from the PSN, etc.,) apparently developers/publishers can update that activities list with messages and links to the PSN store or the internet. I don't know if this is already implemented, but it would be cool if game invites could be checked in the activities log.

Did some window shopping at TRU this morning. Thinking Hot Shots & Lumines. Then Blaz Blue if they have it, and cave in and get Wipeout, Marvel and Ridge Racer if I see them there on Wednesday lol.

Probably gonna be a lot of back and forth there since its $20 GC for every $50 spent. Didn't see any memory card there though, hopefully Wednesday!
