Apparently it's due to the fact Eri Kitamura voiced a character in some pseudoincest anime.

I'm not at my computer so I can't double check, but I think it's something like "I definitely didn't smell my onii-chan's boxers" or something similar. Will double check when home.

Also, this needs more quotes. Hilarious.

I feel kind of bad fast forwarding through this song, but it doesn't get truly epic until it reaches the 3:24 mark.

This is the kind of music that can make just about anything look epic. Getting a drink out of the fridge... Gundam music starts playing... epicness begins.

Hell yeah, love that song, makes me want to go to war.

no need, it's

Oniichan no Koto Nanka Zenzen Suki Janain Dakara ne!!

or for those of us who are less adept at Japanese:

I Don't Like You At All, Big Brother!!

Apparently it is actually legal for adopted siblings to marry in Japan. Now suddenly all these pseudoincest anime make slightly more sense.

I've had enough of big brother anime. Where's my little brother, big sister, or little sister animes. Or better yet just some bullshit not about psuedoincest.

The big brother anime are by definition little sister anime!

Or little brother, I guess. Possibly.

Also both summer and fall have more pseudoincest anime. Just so you are informed.

Watched 7 episodes so far, and was thinking of watching Steins Gate next.
What's AnimeGAF's consensus on Steins Gate?

It's very good. Actually, I came across this last night (while checking out the YouTube app on the Vita) and I wanted to share it with anime-gaf. The narrator speaks too fast and his accent is a bit thick, but I agreed with everything I understood him to say and I also rated it an 8.

Ah okay. I couldn't remember what it was she said, just that it was silly ridiculous. >_>

That was hilarious. I was already planning on watching this, but now I'm more excited :D

I tried to watch this but couldn't make it past the first 3 minutes.

That character design is awful, atrocious, abysmal and gross.

Another series I'm nearly up-to-date now, and I blame myself for not following this latest episodes and the discussions, your impressions and all that jazz on it as it aired, with more time to digest what I saw because... I love this series, I really do... it is amazing!

One thing that I particularly find lovely; it is how they always try to make us "focus" on the bind between the main characters and the place they are living in even when they are not the specific focus for the scene. More than backgrounds and foregrounds, active part of the series. The sensation of united friends from this fairly particular people in a place very well presented on this show like Enoshima, united to risk it all to save it. That familiarity or connection with the location they created makes it seem of even more worth fighting for it.

It really helps with this notion that the main characters can remain recognizable even on far away shots thanks to their vivid presence and distinctive colors, like Jexhius said.

Just one example... and there are many little and more specific moments of a nice approach to direction, I think this show is brilliant thanks to details like that! Even if the sometimes inconsistent animation quality hindered some of those achievements.

gotta love the comedy and the way it balances that with escalating stakes and the feels. It's also the best looking show this season, and the hip, goofy aesthetics coupled with the vibrant colors really make shit pop. i'm sure tons of other folks have commented on the character developments and all the assorted quality writing perks. the way that they develop and now have bloomed feels natural and right.
The last I've seen is episode 10 as well and I have to say its end has been unexpectedly dramatic, to the point of being jarring. I mean, with this series they have always tried to alleviate any kind of unpleasant moment; how JFX controls humans but to do the Enoshima dance, Yuki's humorous panic attacks (as I said when I saw the first episode here http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=36914144&postcount=13), and even the antagonist organization seems weirdly interesting and funny while the only harm they do happens when things go out of control. Such a moment as the Heming Way getting destroyed caught me by surprise, and seemed out-of-place. I don't know what to expect tonally from the next episodes after this.

Fujiko has ended. I'm in no hurry to watch it, given what a clusterfuck the last few episodes have been. There are 9 animation directors in the finale (lol), and 4 directors, and 2 storyboarders. Similar to last week's episode, the credits on the website and the actual episode don't actually match up properly, but it looks like Makoto Sudo is being used as Yokoyama's pen name for direction here, probably because he's too ashamed to be associated with this production beyond the storyboarding credit. Oh and Koike is finally credited as a key animator for this episode, so maybe there's some good action... for 5 seconds. Lololol.

Maturity, bitches.
Actually it would be more like:

1. Akira
2. Legend of the Overfiend
3. Ghost in the Shell
4. Spirited Away

You have a point. Guess we could slip Pokemon the First Movie in at number 5 since Top Four sounds a bit odd. Five is a nice number for lists.
