OP, another thing to take note of. PS1 Imports can be downloaded directly to the Vita, if it's in your the downloads list. A few others have confirmed this as well.

Parasite Eve II works.

Edit: Ah, seems that was already confirmed.

Edit2: Final Fantasy Origins also works, I think this was mentioned before but I don't see it in the OP.

Speaking of Final Fantasy VI, can anyone tell me how are the load times for menus on the Vita? In the PlayStation Options menu, does "Disc Load Speed" reduce the loading?

Better marketing than SCEA is doing for the system.

Are the load times improved at all?

What marketing lol

They have the internet and a thread like this to inform people. Of course, all these games should be available to download on Vita but they are clearly still working it all out. I'm just glad I can transfer them via PS3.

And since I can remap buttons, I'm going to change the annoying O to execute back to X like it should be.

Never played Um Jammer Lammy or Parappa the Rapper, and I just totally wiped out on the first song of Um Jammer Lammy. lol.

I don't understand the prompts that are solid, I hit the button and nothing happens. So stoked for this Finally get to catch up on some great PS1 and SNES RPGs (Chrono Trigger and FF6). Don't ridicule me :/

Seeing how good PS1 games look on here makes me very sad that Crash 1, 2, 3, and CTR don't work (actually I only tried 2 and CTR but I can assume).

Updated again. I may take a break until tomorrow morning when the Plus shenanigans are figured out. I've got some FF8 to play.

At E3 they pretty much admited this is just the old PSP emulator tinkered with just by this screen alone.

Did they have enough common sense to remove this screen since then atleast?

Doesn't even say Vita

I'm so tired of explaining to people why the PS1 version of FFVI will never have non-crap load times no matter what you play it on every time it comes up.

As long as it's taking to get these on here, a little oversight like that is not what I would describe as a problem considering most of us know these were tooled for PSP but not have been basically transported here with a decent amount of options too.

I'm on the Vita Japanese store right now and it looks like they pretty much just uploaded every PSX game. Period. The fighting game section has nearly 30 games and the RPG section has at least double that.

Still no full list, but it looks pretty complete.

It's a rhythm game. Play like you're playing a guitar.

Once you reach "You playin':Cool" then free-style it.

Sounds about right...

Tried Alundra, and without Bilinear filtering on it looks AMAZING.

Now I need to figure out how to get my saves put on properly, I fear I may need to create a bunch of memory cards or something, rather than selectively copying over the saves I need. If it's possible at all anyway. :/

So tired of explaining it that you don't actually explain it and complain about it instead?

I hardly call this an oversight, especially if they're just emulating the emulator.

That's terribly inefficient and bad for battery life.

Trust no one. Eat steaks.
Wonder how many of the PSone games that currently work on the Vita support true 16:9 support.

The only games I know of off the top of my head was Colin McRae 2.0, Wip3out/SE/XL and Ghost in a Shell but I am sure there were a few more.

I dont think fast load helps FFVI much, about 4 seconds to get in a menu

Fast load will never help games. With the exception of maybe 1% of titles it doesn't increase load times by more than a few milliseconds. It's a straight .iso to eboot.pbp dump. I dunno why people think "PSN release" means "they added support for memory card/hard-drive to speed-up loads." No these are 10+ year old titles, re-released.

If you care that much, let them know on the blog. I care very little about that. It's a non issue and really, this isn't the thread for it nor should it be a big deal. It's a new wrapper. Nothing more, nothing less. Time to enjoy the games.

Does the ps3 and psvita have to be the same account to transfer the game?
If it does :(
Cause i use a new account for vita :(

More importantly they're games designed around a slow disc drive that trying to emulate being way faster will actively break games. If it were like the PSP where all games could handle load times suddenly being infinitely faster then they would definitely be better, but that's not the case at all (plus I imagine the FF battle transitions would be the same as the Mass Effect elevators anyway).
