So SyFy is running this show which is basically Hoarders for nerds called Collection Intervention, and it's mostly American nerd stuff but they actually had a guy who was into mecha/giant robo stuff:

He has like over two thousand figures worth 200k-300k and he's treating it as a retirement fund. Wacky.

Did you see the other episodes?
the Star Wars collector woman was the biggest geek I have ever seen. even had a Star Wars wedding
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtPllCjAMBk LOL.
Transformer dude was a little out there also.

They also hand pretty well known toy reviewer Sean Long in an episode, had a crazy amount of Hot Toys and others.

Show is pretty cool though.

What the fuck?

She's horribly pathetic and whiny and annoying, 99% of her dialogue is whining "the book, the book..." while whimpering around and being generally useless. Everything she does just oozes pathetic.

she is a book worm , but she can do things when needed

i find her very good as a character..Especially given how she fights

It's like you're ignoring all those times where she's kicking ass.

Placing the major event around which the episode revolves aside for a bit. I find it amusing
how the Section 1 investigators are introduced to Rico and then Triela. Though they are both cyborgs, their personalities are as to night and day. Rico being more robotic in her responses and Triela contrasting as the more human-like in reactions.
I wonder if that threw the Section 1 visitors off. It's another informative view on Social Welfare and how even people related to other branches feel about the on-going cyborg project. Men who, I'd imagine, deal with death on a regular basis profile unsettled facial expressions when hearing the responses to some of their questions. It's intriguing to have different points of societal view shared on the whole thing (over the course of the series) as it leads to a variety of reactions.

In any case, it would seem Section 2 has enemies closer to home, as the head of Section 1 wants them dissolved.

As for the main course...
the murder was hidden behind a third-party, which means that it wasn't executed by a third-party. Otherwise, the conversation with Rico's handler would have never shot in the direction it did (creating an objective to save face). Not to mention the shot showing both corpses perfectly in line with one another at a distance. I can't think up many gun fight scenarios that would end up like that if it included a third party ambushing the two. The comment from one of the agents about controlling the media surrounding the event gave me a flashback to Raballo and how it possibly supports my theory of Social Welfare taking him out once he had called the local news post-retirement. I digress.

What I'm really pondering over is whether
the events from the previous episode fed into Elsa shooting Lauro. I mean, it would make sense. She was extremely depressed by the events on the tower. Plus, it was evident from her conversation with Henrietta that she was quite obsessed with her handler. The event of ensuring they both are together forever (without having to deal with Lauro's pesky apathy towards her)!

And with that another well executed episode has been marked while getting ever closer to the finale.

My god...the greatest crossover ever!

hvgDn.jpg
To put a bit more context to this image:
The time-traveling bath manga Thermae Romae is spanning the dimensions again for a promotional crossover with Chūya Koyama's Space Brothers manga. Even though Enterbrain publishes Thermae Romae and Kodansha publishes Space Brothers, the two publishers are collaborating on a joint promotional campaign that launches in bookstores throughout Japan on September 25. The campaign puts Lucius, the Roman bath architect from Thermae Romae, in a spacesuit, while Space Brothers' astronaut-in-training Mutta dons a toga. The resulting illustration will adorn posters and cardboard standups on display at bookstores. About 10 of those stores will also erect giant, 180-centimeter-tall (about 71-inch-tall) signs.
So sadly it's not really a full manga crossover, but still quite neat nonetheless.

It should have been me, not Kayos.

I didn't have to read the image, but I did. My eyes spoiled me, not Kayos!

Gundam 08th MS Team episode 6

right now this is my second favorite Gundam, really like the action and almost all the characters.

Whats your first?

And yeah for me 08th MS Team is the best Gundam. It's just so different than everything else, it's got none of the stuff I generally hate about Gundam and a lot of awesome.

I probably sold some vintage Getter Robo toys to this guy on ebay at one time, hahah.

ROMNEY2012 FOR THE HOSADAPOCALYPSE

Just the regular old apocalypse, actually.

well...

France, Italy and San Marino are all nice places for a short vacation.

lol San Marino. Where are they going to hold a screening next; Sealand?

I feel terrible right now. :(

OT3 to not hit 20k confirmed

Long time no post!

Been watching Texhnolyze on the official youtube channel when I have the chance.
I'm 8 episodes in and finding myself exceptionally bored. The primary protagonist is dreadfully dull, and the more interesting characters are all getting smaller parts in episodes. The setting keeps giving me something to be interested in for fifteen seconds every few episodes, but it's just boring in the end. I'm really hoping this ends up doing something worth my time in the back 2/3... They alluded to there being something potentially meaty to the protagonist's background in one episode but no payoff yet.

Also, that blonde haired woman is such a terrible character. Geez... There had better be some developing of that character at some point, because she's cringe inducing every time they have her on screen.

I'm getting worried about noitaminA. Still no Psycho-Pass update. I wonder if they actually fired the web guy after he fucked up the Youtube upload earlier today. I hope not! >_<

Hey, hey, hey there! Monte Carlo hosts a complete international film festival, and Monaco is smaller than San Marino!
On the other side, Monaco has a true F1 'Grand Prix' while San Marino was an excuse to have another one in Italy (Imola).

But look at what they'll organize for this weekend:

motogp.com · GP Aperol di San Marino e Riviera di Rimini
http://www.motogp.com/es/events/San Marino/2012

In Italian territory as well (Misano), heh.
