That would have to be running real time on the 360 to handle customized armor permutations. I don't think that's possible in this space time continuum.
What I'm loving in these small cinematic bits are the faces and the camera work. Its miles beyond everything I would have expected.
Watermarking & ACR, almost assuredly (which is why it won't hit FUD - there's no footage of H4 in those videos). What's fascinating is the idea that it's effective enough to catch video recorded on a cam.

I think most stores like restock on tuesdays or wednesdays in the morning, so I bet they will show up then
Didn't someone say that it took around 20 games to get to level 21 (which is how we started bitching about emblems)? If we stock up now then we should be able to get there by the end of the week, provided we don't have Warrant Officer Grade 3 to work through again.
And I think the Dew XP website is dying. It's not loading half of the content for me.

Have they said anything about all of the different pre-order skins being made available down the road in some fashion or another? The sheer volume of different ones from different retailers is absurd. Keeping the LE and Halo 360 bundle ones exclusive is fine, but the pre-order ones should be made available at some point. And someone said something about you getting a different one if you buy the season pass separately as opposed to what you get with the LE? Jesus. Is there a site or listing anywhere of the different skins and how to get them? Also aren't some UK only or something?
Picked up a case of regular Mtn Dew today at Walmart, they had a few Halo 4 ones but most of them were still regular. Didn't see any Gamefuel there, haven't gone out of my way to look for it at gas stations or anything though. Also haven't seen any of the XP Doritos anywhere yet either.

They have different SKUs and were apparently limited to one set of bonuses per SKU or some such. It was a tweet from bsangel a while back.
Ellis and Frankie have mentioned a few times that they have a plan to make the retailer-specific camo available to others but not for a long while. They want to make sure that the retailers get more than enough breathing room with this kind of thing.

It's insanely annoying when actually purchasing an XL bag of doritos only to find the code on the back has been used.
People trying to figure out the leveling system also need realize that most (all?) of the MP livestreams we've seen have been people playing through tunneling and not Xbox Live. I would assume Halo 4 works like Reach where when you're playing "offline" you level up much faster to make up the difference. So I don't think we can take how fast people are leveling up in the livestreams as an indication of anything.

it could be like halo: Reach. when you play the game offline you rank up way faster than if you play online. this was so players who never play online can still reach the highest rank.
would also help for game events, where players are on lan and can see how progression works at an accelerated rate.

There are ways of putting codes in bags/boxes of things.
It's almost like putting the 'surprise inside' on the outside of the cereal box, expecting children to not just rip the stupid thing off and go on with their day
