I'll humbly offer a few nice photos of my island.

The world has many naturally beautiful places. I think the mix of ancient celtic manmade landscape and nature's own work is fairly unique and beautiful here in Ireland (and in Scotland also). On a nice day anyway :p

I had a layaway from a flight somewhere in Ireland and loved the scenery when there. Nothing but green mountains

Good thread.

From the places I've seen... (random internet pictures)

Canada

Greece

There are still so many places I'd like to see. I'd love to see Asia (especially China and Indonesia), Iceland and Scandinavia. I would also love to see the Grand Canyon and more parts of the US, I've only been in Washinton, Idaho and Montana. Seattle and Glacier National Park were fucking great though

I love the Himayalas, so I'll give my vote to India/Nepal/Bhutan/lil bit of China+Pakistan

If that's not considered a real vote, I guess I'd give it to Chile because it houses the Atacama Desert , which has an absolutely surreal night sky.

America wins by default due to the diversity. The sheer range of stuff here in Idaho is a fine example...

Add the Grand Canyon, Denali National Park, Yellowstone, Hawaii and god knows what else.

Pakistan, specifically Murree needs some love. It's our little Switzerland (most popular filming location in Bollywood movies).

There are so many gorgeous places to choose from! Though, I'm going to have to go with Japan, Italy, Iceland, and Greece.

USA. We got that diversity, yo.

I actually have to agree with this. The USA is ridiculously gifted in the varied amount of geography she has. Hard to beat, at least in terms of variety, if nothing else. Alaska, Hawaii, the midwest, the pacific coast, New England... it's quite the range.

I do like Canada though.

I think the thread should clarify, since to me it's not about the diversity of nature that makes a place the most beautiful.

What excludes the US of the get go for me is that the culture is simply not old enough. It's a balance of food, people, literature, architecture and the great out doors.

So maybe, Italy or France.
