Next-gen's still next-gen 'til it arrives (yeah, WiiU doesn't count). Unless, that quote's referring to PS4/NextBox.

It's a cross gen game. This is probably what the next gen versions will look like.. Visuals like this in an open world game aren't quite feasible on current gen and they can't focus on too many next gen effects because it has to work on older consoles as well.

After watching the trailer a 3rd time i came to the question "Will it be good?". I mean the gameplay looks awesome. But will it get repetive? Are the missions interesting? Will it offer more then just missions and MP? And first of all. Will it be an interesting revenge story?

They said already that the target platforms are nextgen consoles and PCs and that the current gen versions will look different.

If I remember correctly rumors said that the next Xbox will be released in early November. Not sure if there was anything on the PS4, but I would expect the same time frame.

So what's the logic in putting together a trailer and trying to prevent people from watching the trailer for a game that you wish to sell?

Usually the press has written an article or two about the game and they're all banking on hits. If someone posts it before the other then they will get more hits than others who may have a much better preview with a much better article.

The way this game is skipping out on announcing itself with the new xbox lets me wonder...

Is the new xbox even announced yet? How can they promote a game for a console that "officially" doesn't exist.
