Are you guys seriously? A gaffer with bad grammar said 1 yere ecloosive ?

His posts are insane on purpose and he has a very good track record.

That ironsights picture is amazing, thank you.

There is some wiggle room, depending on how accurate players are without iron sights and on how much accuracy they add. In the best case scenario, you get something that works a bit like Counter-Strike.

120fps PC gaming goodness ahoy with this game. Looks damn good for a Source game. Which also means that it'll run mid range hardware without a hitch.

Huh, did not know it was being developed using Source engine. Cool.

The mechanical design of this game looks so amateurish. Iron sights, accuracy penalties while moving, and the ultra-low TTK are totally at odds with the high-mobility jetpacks and walljumps. The whole thing just looks like a confused mess that doesn't actually have any idea how to accomplish the goals that it's set for itself.

Once you're actually in a mech, it looks like a perfectly fine, playable game, but I somehow doubt that the game is going to include modes that scrap or marginalize the shitty infantry combat.

Game looks dreadfully boring. I thought people said this was bringing mobility back to FPS games? Base movement speed looks slow as molasses, no crosshairs at all during sprint, and IRON SIGHTS YAY.

Looks like another slow and derivative console shooter. Really disappointing.

Really lol?! I guess compared to Quake or UT, sure. Personally I'm not a fan of that shit though.

As long as consoles exist in their current form every single mainstream shooter will be stuck in this cage of blandness.

Looks like a really cool concept potentially ruined by the need to design around console gamers with thumb joysticks. Will check it out on PC if I don't have an Xbone. As others mentioned it seems a little slow, but maybe I just need to play it.

Is there 1080P video of any next gen games?

Hopefully with KS we can get this genre back on track to some extent, but I'm not holding my breath considering FPS' still have that "popular" stigma with the KS crowd.

Graphics are less than impressive, but I can turn a blind eye since the gameplay looks stellar.

The highlight of E3 for me. I'm gonna have to settle for the 360 version though, as I'm not buying an Xbone. I have faith Respawn won't allow a crap 360 port.

Praying the PS4 version isn't too far off.

This is the one Xbox One game that kind of makes me sad that I won't be picking up an Xbox One day one. I'll guess I'll have to learn how to play shooters on a keyboard and mouse on my PC or hope that it's just a timed exclusive.

He has being right about everything else except for Price of Persia.
Ok. Well that's great if true. That would mean they are developing the PS4 version right now. 1 year isn't long at all considering!

Wish they had made it XB1-only. As it is it looks like a higher res 360 game :/
They aren't developing the 360ver. I think this is how they wanted the X1 ver to look, with everything going on.

last 2 from me.

Though I'd love to see it come to PS4 eventually, ultimately I'm just glad a game like this exists. It gives other devs something to shoot for.

Still not getting what looks so good in this.
They just took COD, added mechas, and jetpacks from Tribes.
I mean, there's nothing exceptional in this, nothing ground breaking like Halos controls (melee and grenades in their own buttons for quick use) and regenerating shields, or COD4 Modern Warfare's perk system and fluid, fun gameplay.

Is it just me or do the animations look a little strange @ 60fps. Does not seem as smooth. Was yesterday's gameplay footage at the show running at 30fps or 60fps?

I'd say this is the first title I've seen that makes MP look and feel like SP.

I'm not saying it's revolutionary, but adding mechs in the way they did is pretty different and unique from most FPSs out there.

Probably 60 but the video streams were probably maxing at 30.

Yeah, no.
Well. Like a bad single player game (Battlefield 3 campaign, most COD campaigns, hell, most campaigns, period).
A good one? No.

Is it? They're just vehicles.
Don't think even ordering a vehicle to middle of battlefield is a new thing.

When they say 1 year exclusive, does that include the PC version? Because that's the one I want!

No.

Xbox ONE and PC version are being done by Respawn, the 360 version is being farmed out. all other rumored versions are the year later.

That facial animation/lipsync is distractingly bad.

Why would you even bother with those pop up comm windows if that's the best you can do?

Holy shit I want this game now. Cant believe that is the source engine. Should run crazy good even on ancient hardware.

Ok, thanks. I do prefer the 60fps version. When running @ 30fps, it looks like everything is flowing through molasses. But when @ 60fps the animations don't appear to be as "smooth." Can't really explain it.

Either way, this game looks pretty fun. I wonder if it is all PvP or if you can play co-op campaings against the AI.

I think that iron sights pic is exactly why we see it so often. Having people move slowly when they're shooting each other lessens the impact of lag, say when a large portion of your playerbase is on console P2P connections.

What makes any game great? Few games truly offer original ideas. It's how you execute on all the details that ultimately matters.

Just as they did with Modern Warfare in 2007, these guys know how to bring it all together to create something that feels exciting, fluid, and visceral. It's the look and sound of the gunplay, the animation as you move around, the explosions and effects, the XP numbers popping with the kills, the small touches happening around you on the battlefield.

Some developers get it, and some don't. The people at Respawn (formerly Infinity Ward) get it.
