It's not that bad, actually.
See the fucking problem with Choro Q games is their names change in every goddamn region so they are different. So I dont know if your game is Road Trip or Road Trip: Adventure Avenue. Then I played an arcade version Choro Q game called Gadget Racers on the PS2 but I dont know what that is called in Europe. Then I wanted to play Road Trip: Adventure Avenue so I imported it from the Uk and it was called Penny Racers even though theres an N64 game called that. Then theres another PS2 game in north america called Choro Q. Then theres road trip: arcade edition on the gamecube.

Has there ever been a franchise with such stupid naming conventions per region that they made no sense?

Rifts Promise of Power (I am not sure it ever released. I worked on it and played the gold master on my NGAGE), Demise: Rise of the Kutan, Mordor, and Horizons: Empire of Istaria (another game I worked on)

beyblade grevolution

Pretty sure I played this as a kid. I played a beyblade gameboy game. Was this the one where you had to maneuver your beyblade through an obstacle course basically?

Yep. I could never make it past the first 10 minutes.

I used to love this game. I never hear anyone talk about it though.

Played it too. Stumped me sometimes. One of the first real point N click adventure games I played, after stuff like Maniac Mansion, Deja Vu & Snatcher.

I rented Myst on PS1, so... yeah, it was uncharted waters for me.

Future Cop LAPD

I haven't played your first one, but I remember loving this game on the PSX. I was like 8 or 9 at the time mind you so who knows if it's actually good.

Fake edit: just googled and it was put up on PSN in 2009. Kind of tempted.

Holy shit I remember wanting this for Christmas that year and my dad flat out told me "it looked like shit so I didn't get it for you. i got you this instead:

"

I love my dad.

EDIT: not saying DMC3 is obscure at all.

I'd put more effort into father's day if my dad bought me DMC3.

I didn't even like the game

I always wanted to play Popolocrois on PS1 when it was slated to never be localized, and was excited when I saw it finally coming out on PSP... never had a PSP, though.

Would be nice if 10-15 PS1 & PSP things that aren't on PSN in North America were on PSN for me to buy and play on my Vita.

It was not an A tier SRPG, but it was a good one. PSX had a SHITLOAD of those midtier great games man. What a console, jesus.... god bless CDROMs allowing devs to enter the industry in droves back then and experiment more.

I wanted to play 40 Winks (can't find the quote). I remember the Diehard Gamefan previews. Top down anything was my shiz, so of course I noticed. Wow, digging up the dirt. Good job, dude.

Basically the spiritual successor to Zombies Ate My Neighbors.

I freakin' love this game. Remind me to buy the PS3 port.

I remember this, and I particularly remember one moment of the game : there are 3 characters, one is teaching one another to summon things from her cards, they train with orange (the fruit) cards, and she can only make bitter fruits that way...don't ask me why this segment stuck with me.

I think I'm the only one who has played this :

(PES mod with Moroccan dubs/teams. Quite hilarious dub in fact) (think it was on PS2, but now that I think about it I don't think modified versions of games count...)

I've never heard anyone else mention it, awesome game at the time too.

And Nemesis The Warlock on C64.

Rented it but never bought it. Always wanted to add it to my collection before selling all my PS1 games.

Was a solid SRPG for sure, and Amano art... that was all I needed to know.

Here's a Saturn and PS1 game I love that never get much spin:

...if Zombies Ate My Neighbors was a Zelda game crossed with God of War. Co-op too.

Oh man I wanna play it again... PSN already, ffs. With LucasArts in the Disney Vault, it's probably lost to the void for eternity.

I liked it as well. Flawed as hell and has some mind bending examples of bad programming and awful design, but still has tons of charm (or something... cause I keep going back to it).

From what I understand, they cut quite a bit out of the PS3 port in the effort of getting it to play smoother. Wasn't to pleased about some of the stuff they cut out.

Probably Xexyz on the NES and Skyblazer or Space Megaforce on the SNES are my two largely unheard of oddballs.

I liked Skyblazer and Space Megaforce a lot. Xexyz can eat a dick with it's miserable magnetic jumping physics bullshit.
