On October 20, 2016, Nintendo of America Inc. filed in the United States via the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) three trademark applications related to Nintendo Switch. The markes entered in Trademark Reporting and Monitoring System (TRAM) yesterday on October 24, 2016. It is nothing too interesting but worthy a look to see what the system could potentially be used for. The marks in question are:
You can see mention of "optical discs" here, though we know that Nintendo Switch uses cartridges. It is just basic practice of securing relevant goods and services, and not confirmation of certain features, products or services. Yet still worthy a mention.
