Sure can't wait for that Cosmic Star Heroine...

Shouldn't have to wait much longer. Shooting for sometime in June-August 2016. :)

Personally, I was a little surprised that there weren't more games on the list. Cosmic Star Heroine is far from the biggest pub fund deal since it doesn't have true exclusivity (will come out on PC the same day), but still it's pretty humbling to know that it's one of only about 2 dozen or so games that Sony's taken a chance on like this.

And we've tried to make sure they don't regret it by giving extra attention to ensuring the game runs well on the PS4 & Vita. When I checked just recently, we had 60 fps on PS4 & next to no load times, while the Vita version varied from 52-60 fps & 1-3 sec map loads (no loads for combat since it happens directly on the field).

Would you mind explaining what Sony's pub fund initiative actually entails? Do they outright fund your game or do they pay you a certain amount upon completion of the game because I have some conflicting info.

I'm not sure how much I can state publicly without an NDA issue. Maybe I can try to get Brian in here to answer that directly.

There's also the info up on the official page:

I didn't realize the Pub Fund had been around so long, my buddy and I spent a lot of hours on Burn Zombie Burn back in the day.
