I've been postulating in my head since Dolt 45's administration started coming apart in March that for conservative-leaning news had to be burned to the ground and started anew outside of resolute old outfits that haven't drank the Kool-Aid like WSJ, Weekly Standard, and the National Review.
It's been clear for a decade that the crazy, nihilistic, illogical, illiberal, anti-science, anti-intellectual fringe has been gaining more and more mindshare and control over the entire right side of the American political spectrum til that tail has complete control over the entire dog, not just the wagging of it. We don't have as many conservative takes on the news and issues now, those are stifled, changed, or exiled, with a deathmarch to Fantasy Land with all the counter-progressive attacks, lying, and delusional fixations that comes if they stay. And it'll spring back up again and again unless this unnatural yank from the crazy far fringe of the spectrum is not broken.
