FBI wants to look up my porn then let them. Yeah this is pretty fucked up but in obtaining a CS degree and learning about the finer details of technology regarding computers and the Internet, I'm pretty desensitized to this.

I think people have become so desensitized to the idea of sharing information that things like this just don't really register anymore.

Getting a CS degree has the opposite effect on a lot of people.

The problem isn't even the specific information you may have (or not have), but rather how many conversations or items you've ordered that are spuriously linked to "bad" features. Then you get flagged and put on watch lists, without anyone actually going through any of your actual data, and you don't know it and can't get off of it.

This is one of the biggest reasons people should be against surveillance as revealed by Snowden etc.

It may help well-meaning people under someone like Obama, but if a lunatic gets in there, those same powers will transfer over. Who is going to become President and actually attempt to let go of some of their power?

I know people who would support this because it keeps them safe.

These people also live in relatively well-off neighborhoods, and have never been robbed, accosted, harassed or bothered in any way in their lives.

What do they mean by hack a computer? That's some edgy lol worthy terminology.

Why? It's accurate. They will be able to force their way into those computers.

What happened to Marcus in Watch Dogs 2 will happen to millions of people in the coming years, mark my words.

Just remember guys, "revolution" needs to be "peaceful protesting," "molotov cocktail" needs to be "rooty tooty throw and boomy," and words like "college, education, and climate change" need to be avoided at all costs.

If anyone asks, 2+2=5, but they might torture you just because they don't believe you legitimately believe that. Stay strong.
