Great opening for Donkey Kong : Tropical Freeze. It was no that sure that the game would sell that much, at least for me. All the predictions that the Labo variety Kit would outsold the Robo kit were true and good numbers from Labo, considering what it is the same for the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm collection for Switch, not bad at all.

What are the next "big" releases for Switch this month in Japan ? Rockman Classic Collection and BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle ?Can't remember what will be released until the New Mario Tennis.

Yet Bayo 2 on Switch sold worse than it did on Wii U despite that in JP. It just really depends on the game. Popular stuff (MK8Deluxe, Pokken and now DK) are benefiting. Other games (Bayo) are not.

It’s good to see Donkey Kong Country top the weekly list, and hopefully it will have some momentum in coming weeks. Crossing my fingers and hoping for more good news.

I’m also very interested in seeing how Labo performs. If it becomes a hit, it will do so by building slowly and growing its fan base organically. People just need to see it in action before jumping on board, but if it delivers as advertised, it could become a blockbuster smash hit.
