I wish I had a Pump machine locally. Hell, I wish there were a better way of playing it at home. Overall I like DDR better, but some of the Pump routines were just so god damn fun.

Is there a pump machine locator? Was surprised to find out there is one right down the street from me recently. I'm thinking about asking the owner if he's interested in selling it. I already have a DDR Extreme machine, would be nice to put a PIU next to it. Anybody know how the hardware works?

There's a pretty decent system locator (PiU, Technika, other Bemani, etc.) at www.zenius-i-vanisher.com. I have no idea how the hardware works, but I think it's a bit easier to swap out versions than a DDR. I think. I know Pump machines generally sell for ways less than DDR. I've been considering buying one, but I'd need to do so after a few other things in life shake out.

Oh god dammit, why did I go look up if there were any DDR machines on Craigslist near me. A $600 Solo machine? If it's 4th Mix Plus... ;_;
