Well, he's part of Chosen Company, the volunteer Wrecking Ball...really, they trained and fight like a Wrecking Ball, they storm and use spent cannon shells or cartridge boxes filled with plastic, with a grenade fuse, as they put it once:

Rep. Adam Smith responds to Marjorie Taylor Greene: The sponsor of this amendment is basically saying if we pass this bill, we are advocating for the deaths of Ukrainians. That is uniquely demented way of looking at this. From a Russian propaganda standpoint, they invade and it’s our fault for helping them defend themselves. That is argument here against supporting Ukraine and it literally makes no sense.

115 combat clashes took place at front line in Ukraine in one day. In total, the Russians launched 15 missile strikes and 63 airstrikes and fired 109 times from multiple-launch rocket systems on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.

Stunned fury in Moscow. Medvedev fantasizes about a second civil war in America, other officials focus on the fact that the House voted on Hitler’s birthday. Putin’s bet that he will outlast Western resolve has failed…

Excellent news from the Hill in DC tonight on the vote to support Ukraine This will bring much wanted aid to its fighting troops that are also fighting for our freedom. We are grateful to the people of the USA for their efforts.
But now is also the time to remember that the EU now have to increase our own production of armaments, ammunition and supplies to aid Ukraine on a long term basis. Tonight’s vote show the necessity of this. We have to do our own homework as well.
Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billström

I'm all for helping Ukraine, but going that one tweet about "most republicans voted against", It's was just above a 50/50 republican voted Nay. So whomever that guy is let's not get hyperbolic here.

I've never seen or heard of that before, as an aussie I hope the excitable bastard makes himself useful and makes it home in one piece.

Speaking of that bomb thing, I saw a video the other day of ukrainians storming some place in humvees jumping out throwing what I thought were satchel charges (but maybe it was these shell or box bombs) and they might want to set the fuse a little longer cause the explosion was massive and the 2nd humvee must have been real worried for a bit. No one in the buildings were getting out that's for sure.

Russia just struck the TV tower in Kharkiv, messing with Ukrainian digital signal. It's their scorched-earth tactic in action, déjà vu from spring 2022.

It's scary enough it got held up this long, with additional unneeded deaths numbering in the tens of thousands, and it is even scarier that 50% of republicans pretty much are Putins lapdogs. Aren't they supposedly, those US politicians, supposedly exist to look out for US interests? Then, why sell out to Putin and literarly betray their own nation? Also, let's not forget the guarantee when Ukraine gave up it's nuclear arsenal.

USA did that.

ICC really need to investigate the US Republican party, too much of their funds come from Oligarchs/Putin/China.

I remember years back when the idea of merely considering more missile defense systems in Europe was seen as provocative by Russia, and the US would hesitate. Now, there are missile defense systems rapidly being installed all over, and nukes are now under consideration.

lmao

I’m just curious as to when we should expect Russian nukes to show up in say, Venezuela or something.

Now that the stalling has ended in Congress, I am hopeful that there will be no further hurdles in giving Ukraine what they need.

Air defense capabilities, munitions already being delivered to Ukraine – MoD Sweden.

Ukrainian Army repel 50 Russian attacks over last day. Most of the assaults were concentrated on 4 different fronts. | EuroMaidenPress | April 2024
Over the course of the day, there were 62 combat clashes along the front lines, with the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully repelling most attacks in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Novopavlivka, and Avdiivka directions, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Russian forces carried out four missile strikes and 58 air strikes and shelled Ukrainian military positions and civilian areas 100 times from multiple rocket launch systems.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Defense Forces’ aviation conducted strikes on two anti-aircraft missile systems and 13 areas identified as enemy personnel, weapon, and military equipment concentrations, the General Staff wrote on social media.

In Siversk and Slobozhansky’s directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in border regions, engages in sabotage and reconnaissance activities, and conducts shelling of civilian settlements from Russian territory. Additionally, it is intensifying the density of mine-explosive barriers along the Ukrainian state border. Over ten populated areas, including Oleksiiivka, Myropilske, and Stepok settlements in Sumy Oblast, have been targeted by enemy artillery and mortar fire.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy did not engage in assault operations but conducted an aerial strike near Senkove in the Kharkiv Oblast. Over ten populated areas, including Synkivka, Petropavlivka, and Kotliarivka in the Kharkiv Oblast, came under artillery and mortar fire from Russian forces.
In the Lyman direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 14 attacks near Novoiehorivka, Serebriansk forestry in Luhansk Oblast, and the settlements of Terni and Torske in the Donetsk region. Another ten populated areas, including Nevske in Luhansk Oblast and Terny, Yampolivka, and Torske in Donetsk region, suffered from artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 12 attacks near Zolotarivka, Spyrne, Viyivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Andriivka settlements in Donetsk Oblast, where the enemy attempted to improve tactical positions. It also conducted an air strike near Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast. Approximately 20 populated settlements, including Hryhorivka, Kalynivka, Chasiv Yar, and Stupochky in Donetsk Oblast were shelled from artillery and mortar fire.
In the Avdiivka direction, the Ukrainian soldiers thwarted 10 attacks near Novobakhmutivka, Semenivka, Umanske, Yasnobrodivka, and Netaylove settlements in Donetsk Oblast, where the enemy, supported by aviation, attempted to displace Ukrainian units from their positions. The Russians carried out airstrikes in the areas of populated settlements of Novokalynove, Berdychiv, Oleksandrivka, Semenivka, and Illinka in Donetsk Oblast. More than 10 settlements, including Ocheretine, Novobakhmutivka, and Umanske in Donetsk region, came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the defense forces continue to hold back the enemy in Heorgiivka, Novomykhailivka, and Urozhaine villages in Donetsk Oblast, where the enemy attempted 12 times to breach the defense of Ukrainian troops. Russian forces carried out airstrikes near Kostiantynivka, Novomykhailivka, and Urozhaine in the region.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy also persists in its intent to displace Ukrainian units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River, the General Staff informed. During the day, they carried out four unsuccessful attacks on the positions of Ukrainian forces near Krynky settlement in Kherson Oblast. Russian invaders conducted airstrikes near Novoberislav and Berislav villages of the region.

The reality, for theese people the package that was held up by political games, will arrive too late. Hope we all can do something in the future regarding political insane games.

Don't usually use a pure reddit post, but this is one that really hit home.

It's insane that Ukraine has to be ready to constantly defend itself from some of the most ludicrous propaganda, while clear video of missile attacks hitting people in markets somehow doesn't barely make the news cycle... the unfairness in coverage and lack of total global outrage is mind boggling.

"Don't ignore theese images, this is our reality".

I wish I could find a proper way to tell citizens in the more powerful nations to vote for all of us on the planet. Your votes determine policy, worldwide, which sucks for us smaller nations.

Despite this huge package finally going through, war fatigue is a huge factor right now.

I wonder how much influence the legal troubles of one of the presidential candidates has had in this, given that by all reports almost 30% of his money is being siphoned away by his legal defense fund, which means less money to grease the wheels in Congress. Money is everything in american politics.

It is, not fair, but it is what it is, a US voter has more weight on how the world will develop, compared to a Ukraine voter.

But, US voters, are caught up in their own problems, so, naturally don't think about the rest of the world when they vote, they see their own problems they want to fix.

Ukraine is probably not high on the list when you have issues of your own, sadly enough.

How long it will last under regular use conditions? How will the use look like vs. number of missiles Russia is using each day? That's what we need to know. The numbers are meaningless without context.
We don't have context for russia's drone/missile reserves nor their production output. It's not like russia can keep it up forever either. We already see they seem to do small attacks for weeks/months before the big waves, so they already seem to not have the capacity to just launch massive attacks whenever they want.

I'm actually more intrigued by all the boats allies seem to be sending to ukraine. Sweden or Norway the other week were saying they would be supplying ukraine with like 20ish of their attack boats, now we have another 60 of some kind from UK. Ukraine have been attacking air defense in crimea, so it makes one wonder if the plan at some point is to cut the bridge and bomb military targets followed up by a boat landing. If that is the plan and it works, they could advance north out of crimea and make the russian forces fight on 2 fronts. Not like russia can support crimea with the black sea fleet, they try that sea babies will be eating well.

If that isn't somewhat the plan I am not sure what they need boats for? Just to resupply and evac wounded from the krynky?

yeah lotta boats seem to be on those lists, then again, those lists are no doubt specifically curated to give the Russians just enough misinfo to fuck up their planning, i can imagine a bunch of orc cunts sitting around a table sweating over thinking the Ukrainians are possibly going to launch an attack on Crimea and therefore move a lot of units into Crimea from other fronts in order to shore up defense and thus leaving the other areas light, who knows but you can bet those lists are not the full picture.

I don't get this attitude, the Russians absolutely wrecked Germany during the war and their EU partners are pretty much throwing everything including the kitchen sink at Ukraine backed up finally by the US and these cunts are holding back... I honestly would've thought Ze Germans would be all over arming Ukraine

Probably economic, they only support Ukraine to keep everybody happy enough to keep selling there cars, but if they could they would cut ties with ukraine the next day and start pumping russian oil again.

Yep, Germany would be happy do have borders with "Russian empire", they don't care about countries in central and eastern Europe.

That's the bit I don't get, I could understand it if there was a chance Germany could normalize relations with these cunts after the war but the damage is done, the EU is weening itself off russian energy so why hold back? Help Ukraine win and take back Crimea and force the Russian elites to finally do something with Putin

Russian forces have recently intensified offensive operations east of Chasiv Yar and northwest of Avdiivka in Donetsk Oblast in an effort to take advantage of the limited window before US security assistance arrives in Ukraine.

jompy on twitter says russian MT-LB in storage is "probably nearing total depletion", based on satellite imagery.
Key snippets:
  • "[The Military Balance 2022] estimated that Russia had over 3,900 MT-LBs in active service, plus another 2,000 in storage. So even if they finally reached 0 left in storage, we'd still see MT-LBs for months"
  • "prewar storage we found 2,461 MT-LBs in storage"
  • "in the most recent footage there were only 921 left."
  • "I wasn't so thorough with my analysis, not differentiating between functional and broken hulls"
  • "the actual number is lower, a lot lower IMHO, probably nearing total depletion"
  • "we haven't got footage of a lot of the biggest MT-LB holder for half a year or more."
There are no known major manufacturers of MT-LB in russia, so now they might have the most MT-LBs they'll ever have again.

Who doesn't love a Steel&Fire airlift? 😚

Like someone wise once put it 'Armies win battles. Logistics win WARS'.

Russians surely don't love logistics, they still don't know/don't want to palletize shit. Here you have them reacting as mad raped beavers 🦫 to the USA anthem.

Thought, to be fair with them, I would also be mad knowing a deluge of steel is going their way and their days/hours are numbered because 'Our tune means DEATH'. 🏴‍☠️

They've been pretty tit for tat in the transfer of their equipment. If America gives Tomahawk or ATACMS, then the Germans will probably send Taurus.

I know the batteries and speaker weight would prevent it but that video makes me want the drone operators to start playing flight of the valkeries as they are recycling russian metal.

Russian jets have already used more than 9,000 guided aerial bombs against Ukraine this year, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said.
The recent pause in US funding helped Moscow to seize the initiative, the Ukrainian president added.
He is asking for additional Patriot air defence systems to be supplied, saying at least seven are required.
"We urgently need Patriot systems and missiles for them," he said.
"This is what can and should save lives right now."
He added: "We need the ability to shoot down the air combat aircraft so that they do not approach our positions and borders," Mr Zelenskyy said at the start of a virtual meeting led by the United States.
Lloyd Austin, the US defence secretary, said the meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group - a coalition of about 50 countries - would focus on Ukraine's air defence capabilities.
As we have been reporting, the US has finally passed a new $61bn (£49bn) programme of funding for Kyiv into law.
