Gruntruck is a Seattle grunge band formed in 1989 with a heavy sound, and released their first two albums in 1992. Their first album, Push, is excellent:

They gained some popularity, and their video for Crazy Love had airplay on MTV (and featured in a Beavis and Butthead episode), but due to legal conflicts with their label, Roadrunner Records, no follow-up albums were released. Once the legal stuff ended, the band worked on a new record which was completed. However, the lead singer Ben McMillan had health problems that prevented him from touring, so the album release was held back until he recovered... which he did not do, dying in 2008.

The new album went unreleased, in a drawer somewhere, until 2016 when the producer mentioned that he still had a copy. This statement got things moving, and the album finally released this month, and is now on Spotify. I can't say it's at the level of 'Push', but it's more music from a band long-gone, so it's kind of a minor miracle. I'll encourage anyone interested in Grunge to take a listen.

EDIT - damn error in the title, any mods that aren't too busy putting out fires, please correct
