So I could theoretically take a high res image to Kinkos or someplace similar and get a poster printed? What do I do to get it over there, put the image on a thumbdrive? (Sorry for the stupid questions, I'm new to this whole thing and I like the idea)

Seeing that really makes me shed a tear for the old style Nintendo art. I can't be the only one sick of the boring ass sterile CGI art that seems to be used for the most part nowadays, right? The older original designs can never be beaten IMO. The personality is just awesome.

Uh, I can see them in all the browsers I have (Explorer, Firefox, Opera).
Have you already tried opening them with an image-specific software, after saving them with right-click, "save link as"?
I can recompress them eventually, but I'm not sure that would solve the problem in your situation.
