Scumbag devs helping scumbag devs.
Care to enlighten me the part of 'scumbag'? Why?
Scumbag devs helping scumbag devs.
Can someone explain to me like a 5 year old why people are getting upset about their tweets? I'm not familiar with this whole #SJW thing.
For which dev?Care to enlighten me the part of 'scumbag'? Why?
I don't understand. What "hate group" did they support?
They're presenting a fairly transparent business decision as the nefarious influence of people who don't like tits in order to boost their own sales of imports among their more delusional clientele. No one's really that upset, just rolling their eyes
why don't you check all the twitters of people play-asia 'accidentally' doxxed by retweeting their tweets
I know I am a bit late on this, but do these ship to South Asia? I know Play-Asia does, but no idea of these two.
This is old news. What a weird picture to use for the article though. Was this posted?

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say that Play-Asia was retweeting and egging on Gamergaters.Again, not familiar with what you are talking about, but based on context of your reply, it's Play-Asia that is the hate group? For retweeting things?
I honestly still don't understand.

Some other games Koei Tecmo published in America this year:
But the SJWs are keeping DOAX3 out because the context has changed so much.
That's one way to lose business.
Who?

The comments on that article seem to really play into the "SJW boogeyman" line of thinking. Angry fans have an easy word to blame for not getting their game, otherwise I'm sure they'd be angry at KT.Was this posted?

Would making DOAX3 digital-only for the west have been a cheaper alternative and less likely to cause controversy due to a lower-key release?

Oh for fucks sake.Play-Asia is right now marketing to a group of ignorant people and a hate group who is always against the "SJW menace" and the "feminist cabal."
They retweeted a picture used for harassment and have also linked Brietbart too which a lot of GamerGaters go to.
Oh for fucks sake.
We're never getting out of GG's shadow are we?

Here we go againNot really what I would call a "hate group", but fair enough. Knowing it's an anti-Gamergate thing puts it into perspective for me. I'm in the "Both sides are ridiculously represented so the whole thing is moot" camp so I assume emotions are high.
Gamergate only goes away when they realise they are the minority. They take silence from most gamers and gaming press as support. We're going to have to deal with massive societal issues based around internet harassment before we even have chance of 'getting rid' of GamerGate.

Yes, because ISIS exists no one can ever criticize anything of lesser importance ever again. This is all so bizzare.
People are taking this game seriously? There are far worse things in the world to protest about.
How are they NOT a hate group? They harass tons of people (mostly women who open up about the shitty treatment of women in the industry & in video games but also men who come out in support of those women & their cause) in the Interwebz and some even IRL for having certain opinions. Not really what I would call a "hate group", but fair enough. As for PA, their twitter guy clearly doesn't get you can be an "SJW" and love tits. That anyone pissed off by that tweet was never a customer.
That's a mistake. And pandering to GG won't increase sales much at all. Like I said, there aren't many of them, they just think they represent the majority
How about the first page? Posts about not using the site based on this tweet read like parody, but we know better by now.Who is upset? Over what exactly? Who are you talking/referring to?
Explain what it is they "believe in" here?I hope PA keeps doing what they're doing. This is just more attention for them and the game, and I'm happy they're sticking up for what they believe in. I'm happy to buy more asian english releases from them in the future.
Koei Tecmo is a company, and their primary goal is to make money. If they don't release DoAX3 in the west, it's because they think it won't make money for whatever reason. Either DoA is not doing well in the west, or they really do think that American audiences are not into what can only be described as skin flicks in gaming form. It's not like Koei Tecmo hasn't released games with with scantily clad busty girls in the past few years. I personally think it will eventually hit the states and this whole controversy will ultimately be silly.

And then Play-Asia dug deeper and retweeted this
This is considered "hate speech"?
I'm getting sealioned on Twitter for tweeting P-A about this. GG took the ball and ran with it.
It is making fun of trigger warnings, and the concept of triggers in general. Not used by typically nice people. This is considered "hate speech"?
