Large Youtubers Hide Ownership of CSGO Lottery Site

The video reeked of simply reading a prepared statement his lawyer drafted for him to read on camera. Damage control, hoping that most people won't even dig past that point.

The Internet never forgets, boys. Seriously. It's ridiculous that someone who makes his living off the Internet doesn't realize that the evidence has already been compiled, no matter how many changes are made later.

ProSyndicate still flying low under the radar.

He's certainly playing it smart. What's the betting he plays off his VP role as hr pushes it all on TmarTn as the main owner.....

When the shit hits the fan people will throw each other under the bus without a second thought, they're not friends, they're "friends".

There are going to be 3 camps for streamers on this one.

The Sleaze Camp that may not do things as bad as these guys but certainly have their hand in questionable things so they will defend the guys.

The Good Guys who are rightly disgusted by their actions and what it does to the community.

Finally the Upset but not willing to break neutrality camp.

That seems like such a weird distinction. But it's different state to state? Are the regulations on the correct way to age gate national gambling services?

Why is it a weird distinction? Casino's do it so they don't have to card to serve drinks. The same reason why a lot of clubs are 21+.

It is gambling, what do you think happens? It would not be a business if the company loses.

well, in gambling some people do win, but my point is when they're not bullshitting "I just won 13,000 and it was easy!", they are in fact not

Rhino put out his video a little bit ago, in support of Psi: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWjwje6zlWo

Rhino is kinda a dick and preaches from the top of the mountain but he's right in the video.

It's a weird comparison, but I imagine Psi's involvement to a similar fashion when people found out Frankieonpcin1080p was "faking" his DayZ videos. He was disingenuous for financial gain. He has apologized and is donating 4000 to a charity of a poll's choice. The actual owners need to suffer some consequences. I'm very curious if the IRS is going to dive into it as well.

The whole running a gambling site illegally is really scummy. The US is really strict on gambling overall. The FTC thing is also a bit worrying. I can imagine they would get away with a fine from the FTC but the gambling site might be worse. Especially if there were some shady rigged games.

Whats really sad is that he is using his fanbase as a shield. I kind of feel bad for those people as they really arent aware of the law and what he did to break it. Lots of gullible people out there for sure. I mean the video just played right into their emotions with the whole "Here is my cute dog being all cute, oh whatever am I going to do". Its social manipulation. He is the type of guy who would wrong you and then after years you call him and he be all like "I was thinking about you the other day actually". Scummy as fuck.

Is it possible the Feds already have an investigation going on with this shit secretly? Not just CSGOlotto but others as well?

You can tell he didn't consult a lawyer, because anyone who attended a single Law class would have told him to shut the fuck up. But these attention starved egotistical youtubers live for the spotlight. The entire purpose of that apology video was probably to show off his house and truck.

I don't know why these youtubers think the only law they're bound to is the court of public opinion. They're going to have really nasty futures.

At least Syndicate knows how to act. He hasn't paniced and removed the like bar and comments and been stupid and admitted guilt.

Not linking to the scum. But interesting that Keemstar does a video on faze. But does very little on syndicate and Tmart. Usually you expect him to be making tons of video about it.

That apology video is the absolute worst. Feel sorry for anyone who used to like this guy, makes me reconsider who I decide to follow on the internet.

What I want to know though, is what was in it for Machinima?
Machinima provided talent management back in the day (not sure about now). They would identify content creators and give them a contract to be part of Machinima Partner in perpetuity. As channels grew, many ended up suing Machinima to get out of their contacts as they were large enough to manage their own brand at that point (CaptainSparklez, SeaNanners). Being part of a partner network, they would take a cut. Depending on how you negotiated your contract, they sometimes would get as high as 80% of the revenue from videos. Their big sales point is giving content creators a larger audience.

Man fuck Lirik, lost a lot of respect for him these past few days. Can't be watching someone that dense.

Lirik has been a shit for awhile including his recent ranting that people new to streaming should make no money and if someone wants to donate to them they should refuse it because new streamers are only in it for the money while guys like him supposedly do it as a passion.

It was complete garbage. Supposedly new streamers need to earn their right to get donations etc. They are just greedy goblins after money while he obviously donates his millions lol

He's removed the apology video lol.

What on earth is he doing..Well at least he's consistent with editing and deleting..

Pro Syndicate has played this smart. Hoping that heat will die down.

Where as Tmartn is digging his own grave.
The problem is that the more Tmartn does the worse he's making it for everyone involved

If I was ProSyndicate I'd be fucking livid at the way Tmartn has handled himself and the situation

Seems PostGhost, the site that archives deleted tweets, hasn't updated with his recent deletions.

Here's his 'I'm Sorry' tweet archived separately for example which doesn't show up on the timeline. Seems he's reported his own feed by emailing them (the About section states users can contact them if they believe 'they're not a public figure').

Update: looks like there's a delay in the updates. The newly deleted tweets are now appearing.
