Anthony Scaramucci’s wife files for divorce

How long until the inevitable President Scaramucci meme kicks off and he falls out of favour?

Let's start it now.

Was listening to MSNBC yesterday and some pundit claimed Mooch was a mini Trump, and they were two peas in a pod. It occurred to me that Trump may in fact just be a mini Mooch. Mooch don't give a fuck, yet Trump cares what people think about him. Mooch's skin is thick as steel while Trump's is translucent.

Mooch is the man Trump probably wishes he could be. And if Mooch started life with as much unearned capital as Trump, Mooch would have made a ton more by now.

Mooch is the alpha. Putin's an alpha. Trump is the beta.

IMO there's actually some truth in this, and it'll come to Trump's attention soon enough.

Whoa. You're right.

Let me word it differently

Criticising public officials for the shit they do on their job is totally fine and I would encourage it. Perusing into the personal struggles of a couple is in bad taste and you wouldn't want it done on you.

I'm generally on board with this sentiment, but "wouldn't want it done to you," is not the right standard for what should or should not be in a newspaper regarding public figures. Most people wouldn't want a newspaper to report any of their illegal or unethical actions. However, something like extortion is obviously something worth reporting about. It's about what's in the public interest. What's important is to distinguish between "public interest" and "what the public is interested in."

The moral character if his wife to have absolutely zero tolerance for someone close to her directly supporting Trump is laudable. If more families were ostracizing people supporting Trump's insanity we might not have gotten to the situation we are in now with the inmates running the asylum.

An update from Page Six:

http://pagesix.com/2017/07/29/scaramuccis-fed-up-wife-left-him-while-nine-months-pregnant/

Anthony Scaramucci’s wife demanded a divorce three weeks ago, while she was nine months pregnant, sources told The Post.

Deidre Scaramucci, 38, fed up with her three-year marriage to the new White House communication director, filed divorce papers on July 6 in Nassau County Supreme Court.

On Monday, while Anthony was in West Virginia with President Trump for the Boy Scouts Jamboree, Deidre gave birth to the couple’s baby boy James. As of Friday evening, a full four days after delivery, her 53-year-old husband had yet to meet his newborn son, though an associate close to Anthony said he visited the child late that night.

“When James was born, he sent her a text saying, ‘Congratulations, I’ll pray for our child,’” said a source close to the situation.

Deidre’s infant son, who was born two weeks before his Aug. 8 due date at 5 pounds, 13 ounces, was admitted on Thursday to the neonatal intensive care unit at North Shore Hospital.

“She’s mad. They aren’t really speaking right now,” the source said of Diedre.“The [pain] runs deep. [Anthony] tells her she’s not that smart, that he’s out of her league.”

This guy rather hang around Trump's nuts than to be with his family. His son, for god's sakes.

Just goes to show what snakes these people are. Frightening.

“She would say, ‘You’re a grifter, you’re this.’ She would mock him for being a Trump sycophant.”

“He was thinking Meryl Streep or Julia Roberts could play him,” Sugerman added.

He’s someone who breathes the rarified air of Harvard Law School, Goldman Sachs, enormous wealth and wildly successful, but he never forgot his roots and for all his celebrity, maintains his humility. He doesn’t need the job [of Communications Director] and the hassle that comes with the long hours and short fuses.”

As Braff said: “He’s a blue collar personality. … He’s very likeable and brash and gets away with saying things that other people, if they said it, might be deemed offensive.”

This is the new face of the White House. This is what the executive branch is all about now.

Double down instead of apologizing and then loudly ask the world what the hell they're going to do about it.

im not quite knowledgable in US matrimonial law but isnt this kind of a suicide move in a divorce trial? i mean you are basically documenting that you have been a douche to your wife.

but then again scaramouch is a harvard lawschool graduate and high profile lawyer. he must know what he is doing.

This guy is Trump if he was actually a successful businessman

well to be fair. trump has magnitudes more money than scaramucci, even if he started at several millions more than scaramucci. you have to give it to scaramucci though that he started with literally nothing and made himself a fortune.

To put it bluntly - stop with the ridiculous tone policing.

The guy just happily signed up to a white nationalist president who only two days ago launched an illegal, unwarranted attack on transgender people for absolutely no reason other than cheap politics. A president and party whose only actions so far have been to make millions of peoples lives worse, cloaked in a shroud of racism and bigotry.

This is not normal politics. This is not normal *anything*. To willingly throw in with these people like Scarumucci did is despicable and disgusting, and he deserves all the mockery he can get. Given the entire lot of them should be in jail, I don't think they'll be worrying about what some people in a message board say.

Personally, I hope his wife takes him for all he's got and nails his balls to the wall.

Sent his wife a text to congratulate her on their child being born. Not a phone call, not physically being there for her. A text. A single-sentence text.

Absolutely drop his ass, girl!

EDIT oh my god PingPong that makes it even WORSE, Mooch you fuck

Probably while snorting a line from an escorts butt. At least that's the vibe he's giving off.

He probably did worse stuff than the wolf of wall Street guy too.

Wow.

Mooch is a winner.

Bannon abused his wife. Mooch is a creep. Sessions lied and is racist.

He knows how to pick them.

He's got a pre-nup I'm sure. She will get some money and most likely custody.

5 kids. Wow.

I always wonder how it must feel to be a child of a celebrity, especially one who routinely shows their stupidity.

To applaud people's internal struggles is pretty awful. I expected better from Gaf.
You don't have to like the guy, but laughing at it and saying he deserves it is a douche move.

Nah.

There's not much in the way of suffering that could occur to any senior administration officials that I wouldn't laugh at at this point. Not gonna lie that's up to and including various terminal illnesses.

A divorce is pretty low on the scale.
