Why weren't some of these used, or the same treatment used for the Versus Portraits is beyond me. How could any DA approve the cheap, soft and even fan-art-like portraits we got is beyond me.

I think it was because they were trying to get the portraits more in line with how they looked in classic MKs thats why. I agree with you though but I can understand the look they were going for.

I've got this thread bookmarked quite a few pages back on where I need to catch up from, but did anyone ever create a torrent of all this goodness?

I haven't updated it in a while, but my gallery at http://ettugamer.com/gallery3/ does have a ton of the stuff here. I'll be updating it over the summer, which will then include all of this stuff. The database is already over 100gb (as I've been doing collecting and archiving of my own), so I doubt it would be easy to torrent it.

Why did you haven't made a request. :)

It is a lot more easy for me in such way. It can take good week or months until any of us or I will post something in what you may looking for. I think is better to have it early then to late or never of ever. Making request, for me are always open.

There is a torrent made that can be found in the Summer Thread at the top of the page.

Talking about the torrent, I want to say that I cannot seed anymore since my PC become full (only 300GB) and I couldn't keep both packs, one for the torrent made with the archives and my pack with a total of 40GB so I had to delete the torrent-pack. Now, at the moment we have 30GB instead of 20 reaching 9000 files. Indeed, a ftp would be nice as a back for more simple use instead of a torrent because it is very hard to download everything from there or downloading rarpack by rarpack to maintain the speed.

Yet, I see some leeches & seeders active, so I thank you for who is spending the time to continue seeding.

Well, depends what game titles you are looking for. I can't help you with this one since I have a 4:3 monitor and not wide for wallpapers with only two games in my PC.

You can search around google as Type-Videogame-Name Tittle Screen or Type-Videogame-Name Effect Tittle. You will get some answers, but in small sizes like 500x500

Maybe, I don't know. It was stated "Alice: Madness Returns" where I found them.

Now I'm completely confused. :) I made that comment only because I knew about this picture and some other wallpapers related to this art for some time before Alice 2 was annoucent. Doesn't matter now from where it comes, is important that is here.

That Please Press Start website is pure awesome. I think this should be a good welcome in your Summary Thread since a lot of us are looking for such quality and they are even wide, perfectly for wallpapers.

Regarding the Alice arts, they are from the first game (at least the first and last pic). They've been re-released by EA when it was announced that Madness Returns will ship with original Alice for free.
