lol, from what I hear about industry people is that they'll accept anything if you're buying.
Goddamnit Eric, just stop. Seriously.
This is a guy who used to work for us at N-Sider; back when SK were still buddy buddy with Nintendo, we'd talk to Denis (as in, I'd talk to Denis, being the PR guy) on a regularish basis. Eric here, hijaked our contact information and started emailing him and threatening to call him, by just being an all around psycho bastard.
This lead to us firing Eric, because he was damaging, or threatening to damage, our liason with Silicon Knights.
So now he's a kid who is a 24 year old virgin (no relevance, but it helps paint the picture), who had no design experience in the past, going to school for game design... and wants to work at SK.
That's why he's brownnosing - When we interviewed Dyack last year I was afraid to see Ark (Eric Topf), as he'd probably come and masturbate all over him.
I've had enough of hearing your BS about SK, Eric.. it's truly getting annoying. Look at the "Who is or is going to go to school for game design" thread - there's lots of people with the education, but how many of those are going to get in? Not likely you, buddy. I know it's harsh, but I've seen your work...
^Eric Topf^.... would you really want
that Stalking you?
Now, to get back on topic of this thread - I live In St. Catharines (Actually moving back to London in a week); and I see Denis and other staffers of SK daily at my store; Denis has definately gained mucho weight, and is losing some of his hair (or at least they look like hair plugs.. lol).
In terms of what TH is, I've heard a lot of tidbits of the story, most of which has been said in the EGM and subsequent interviews... One thing however, is the method of designing the game.
Apparently, the Leads give their teams something to make, they don't tell them what it's for, or what part of the story it's for, they're just told to make it.. They're told to make it look like this, or that, and then a whole other department puts it together. The art, music, level, and character teams have no idea what the others are working on... How is that beneficial to development? Other than keeping secrecy...
