I went with my favorite skill "pyromancy" and the rest were a mix of melee and mana improving ones. I found the new "warlock" skill really useful as it kind of is the anti-mage; barely any mana used, good for tight spots.
Now, I was about 1/3 of clearing the second level when right after a heated battle that left me with like 5 hp instead of eating I chose to step to the side. Just 'cause. Lo-and-behold, there lay a trap that dropped a boulder on top of me.
That'd Dungeons of Dredmor for you, get careless and a measly trap will do you in. I'll definitely try again.

Last day of the Steam Sale! This has been a lot of fun! Thanks a lot to Toma, The_Monk, all the people who provided prizes, all the other participants, and anyone else I unfortunately missed.
I had no idea what I was doing. I randomly got Artful Dodging, Mathemagic, Viking Wizardry, Promethean Magic, Perception, Emomancy, and Werediggle Curse. I thought I was doing alright at first, but then I stepped onto a mysterious portal. The enemies were drastically stronger than the ones I just fought and I died.
And for the two Beat Hazard challenges:
Nice website, will visit again! For part two of the beat challenge, I played the track 'Tango' from Rubén Lozano's Banda Sonora. First time trying the game. I like the game (got it from a bundle); I'm just not very good at it.
My choice is Containment: The Zombie Puzzler
It has zombies, what else do you need to know? Buy It NOW! That said, it is an exciting action puzzler that pits hapless survivors against a ceaseless horde of zombies. Utilize the environment to your advantage and defeat terrifying zombie bosses. But beware, the zombies are extremely capable and will start infecting survivors to turn against you. With a wonderful style of storytelling, you will definitely remain engaged till the end. Includes full leaderboards and achievements for the most competitive players.

I didn't know there was a new free expansion for Dredmor. Weird that it doesnt auto update.
I believe they already work on the next one. And the expansion is free because they are community mods that have been optimized by the dev team to run perfect with the base game.
Project Zomboid? Just a guess.

Alright, I will be out in about... 1 hour and will come back 3-4 hours later. See this as slightly extended contest time. The summary/result post will be up in around 4-5 hours. Hope you guys arent too disappointed that I wont be on time for our last day

So when I started it up there was a total of 21 people playing, so it's safe to say that the game is well and truly dead. However, when I joined the most populated game, I found a surprisingly fun game - if you're a dinosaur. As a human player, it's a big load of slow, laggy unfun. But as a dino, you can run quickly and have an overall better game. However, it's still pretty laggy, and that means I'm not going to be playing this often. Also, there's no minimap and no reliable way of telling who's on what team, making navigation difficult.
In conclusion, if you want a way to simulate being a Nazi dinosaur, this is it. But if you actually want a class-based multiplayer shooter, just go to TF2.

Me the fool didn't survive for long, thanks to somewhat odd set of random skills (Archery, Dual Wielding, Viking Wizardry, Magic Training, Fungal Arts, Wand Lore and Tinkering if I remember right) and having to encounter monster zoo right at the start of second lvl, and me being a fool, I didn't want to back up. But having practically no armor and only few good bolts, it was a failure.

Ok score I say, especially after few earlier attempts which ended so horrible. Thankfully Beat Hazard gets you into the zone somewhat fast and then it's just "uuh pretty colors, uuh music, ffff what's that red thing coming at me".

For this, I decided to check Blabber 'n Smoke's Commissario Tzenko. And the first thing I noticed that it ain't album to play Beat Hazard with, because this album needs other enviroment to be enjoyed. So will be listening this on a better time, better place for sure.

I did two playthroughs, first I disarmed the bomb and on a later playthrough I detonated it. Felt so much better. Definetely my highlight of F3. By the way, you know that you don't have to complete the Wasteland Survival Guide quest? This can still be completed after you've blown up Megaton.
Hm? How? Will she just pop up somewhere else? And there are a few more quests, like the one where I need to give a letter to a girls family. Maybe I need to report back or something.

The game I played was LIMBO.
It's a 2D platformer with black and white graphics where you solve puzzles to advance, and failing them universally ends with you dying horribly, whether it's by drowning or by bear trap or by being impaled by the leg of a giant spider.
It's pretty solid, but the main reason to play is the art style and the mood. It's also well animated, and it's cool seeing all the totally messed up stuff the game throws at you.
The downside is that there are several deaths that you literally cannot avoid, as you only learn how to pass the puzzle by dying.

When I started Beat Hazard I had the option to play "Beat Hazard" or "Beat Hazard Classic". I chose the 1st one and I guess it's harder than Classic... oh well.
I will do the russian roulette draw for yesterday at 8:00 my time, then. That's in an hour and a half from now.
