Both versions read the same, so I assumed it was just a written thing born in the SMS/Internet culture.
See, almost no other error has an effect on me, it's just "would of" that bugs me.
"Sayed" is incorrect, but plausible.
"Thang" is valid slang.
"Could care less" is stupid but in a funny way (anything you can make a chart've is fine by me).
"weather" is, again, incorrect but plausible, and also kind've funny.
It too tired to comment the rest.
"Kind've" would bother me too, but no one says that. Weird...

So Nas got a verified Rapgenius account and he doesn't shed as much detail as I would like him to but I still check it out once in a while. Anyway I came across a comment where someone explains that there was multiple versions of Ether and he actually posts lyrics from it. He then goes on to say the stuff like gay-z or cockafella were put in there because Colombia thought the original was too hard and they wanted to dumb it down. Just curious for the guys who were following the beef at the time how reliable is this? Or is it just some delusional Nas stan?

as thanksgiving winds down, i'd like to share a few hip-hop related things i'm thankful for.
i am thankful for...
- harry fraud making the dopest beats this year
- gucci for getting his life in order (as much as he can lol) and putting out good music again
- the many things that chief keef does not like.
- 2 chainz having no regards for realism and moderation in his lyrics.
- captain murphy channeling the spirit of madvillainy.
- the many workout anthems rick ross and mmg have made this year.
- french montana being french montana. because they're is no other way to describe him.
most importantly i am thankful for based god's work ethic.
and he is thankful to have such beautiful and wonderful people as fans, which is why he has graced us with probably the most important thanksgiving dish, his new mixtape!
happy thanksgiving gaf-hop. hope yall got to spend it w/ the folks important to you.
