so far - love the interface, updating was very easy , beyond the issues set up was incredibly straight forward, unit is sexy, THE UNIT IS HOT NEAR THE VENTS, the unit is silent, the machine is big, the game boxes are cool.

Ridge second track is also from ridge 6 - i'm spotting a pattern here!

Trying Resistance next - will upload photos too

how warm is the thing running? As hot as the X360?

I gotta ask: You impressions of RR7 seemed far more glowing @TGS does 1080p off HDMI make that big of a difference?

yes - 1080p makes a MASSIVE difference. In 720p, it's the same as the X360.

Also - RR7 is the -only- 1080p game at launch.

again it seems very likely. They have already said DONT IMPORT. this is jsut an extension of that. When will be really interesting is when the first of us get import titles from Japan. Im getting MotorStorm, so I hope its all ok :/

the projector supports 720p.

Looks like I'm springing for a 1080p Bravia sooner rather then later.

i'm thinking of the 52 inch Bravia next weekend

I'm curious if the difference between RR7 @ TGS and now at home is more the 1080p, or if it might be the connection.

i'm hoping the demo is the issue here, it's 3 very short, very easy "cells" - the game lacks any sense of danger, then halts when you get to the 'boss'.

The demo you mean? Not the actual game? Or does the game suck? Or just what was shown of the game? Or does it not appeal to you aesthetically? Or are you not stimulated visually? Or is something wrong?

WHY NOT! IT'S GOOD, I LIKE IT!

I got a 52X2000 yesterday. It's fantastic. Fantastic. Be warned though. It comes in a box that is bigger than many Japanese appartments. We had problems finding a taxi van big enough to take it. And it's 69kg boxed. It's still great though.

But no PS3 :-( )
