I normally can't stand this kind of stuff but I actually enjoyed all of his Godzilla review videos, had no idea it was part of a series like this. I'll have to check em out.

James doing what he does best. Bring it on!

I know these things are only 2-4 minutes long, but I was hoping he'd go more in depth for Cabin in the Woods. There's lots of meta-layers in that movie that James didn't go into.

Haven't seen any of these before, but will gladly be binging on all of these to celebrate my favorite month of the year.

Yes, quite a bit. There's even a spoiler warning in the middle of the video.

Yeah I shut it off after the spoiler warning. I don't care about him spoiling bad movies, movies from 30+ years ago that I don't plan on watching, movies with obvious endings, etc., but I'm glad he put a spoiler warning for this one.

Yeah, it seemed a little less in-depth than usual. Typically he gives production facts and thoughts on the film's impact on horror.

Hopefully MM isn't affected by the production of his movie.

I re watch his history of horror series every year. Love that stuff. There is also a great 3 part series done by bbc on youtube on the history of horror.

Looking forward to seeing which movies he reviews this year, he has covered most of the classics.

I really should have listened to his spoiler warning :/

Don't worry, the whole
government facility is behind it
part is revealed right in the beginning of the movie. The only part that got spoiled for you is the last act, and its so awesome that its okay that you know it's coming. It'd of been better if you weren't spoiled, but you should still see it immediately.

Is it still on Netflix?

Monster Madness is amazing, first ep is up. Can't wait to see the crazy movies he picks
Hell yeah! I remembered the date and had to check if a thread was up/he was still doing it.

October is always an excellent month. These reviews are a big part of it. :D

I like going back to the older Cinemassacre's Monster Madness. Not a bad choice with picking Cabin in the Woods. Pretty good movie. James is right about that the 3rd act is the best part i'm not gonna spoil it but its pretty entertaining.

I love Monster Madness. I believe I've watched every episode from every year so far. I should go back & watch some again!

This is the first video I've actually stopped due to a spoiler alert, since I haven't seen this before and I'm saving it for my 31 Days of Horror.

Love these even more than AVGN.

Cabin in the Woods was incredible. Loved that movie!

I hope it gains cult status over the years.

The twist for Cabin in the Woods sounds pretty cool.I remember asking my friend about the movie and he never once mentioned something like this, might have to check it out now.

To those spoiled by the video: fear not, there is another unexpected twist waiting for you :)

Really nice choice for starting this year's monster madness!

To be fair, the twist of that movie is worth not knowing anything about going in. Was a huge appeal of seeing it in theater for me.

It's a great movie, one of my first blu ray purchases!

Has he ever talked about the Silent Hill movies &/or the RE ones before? This might be a good time to bring them up, especially Silent Hill.

& great to see that the dates are also random this time around.

Dear god, what is up with Cinemassace's media player? It took me 10 minutes to watch a 3 minute video because all it did was buffer and turn into a slide show. And my internet connection is no slouch, so it's hardly that.

Enjoyed this one, looks quite eerie and creepy. I have to say so far I enjoyed 80's-a-thon the most. The intro with Michael Jackson pumped me up. This year's intro is pretty good, but a bit lifeless.

I liked it. We should all at least agree that it shows that he isn't putting all of the production experience and technology he received from his movie to waste. The intro has high production values.

That's strange I find the Cinemassacre's media player to be one of the best I use online that's not youtube I actually feel right at home watching videos there rather than thinking to youtube it.

As for this movie I just love when he does these old movies, really wish he would do longer 8mins videos like he does sometimes though.

8 years damn. I remember I started watching them once the third one came out. These are a lot of fun but I've always felt like they were gonna end soon.

Really? I have no problem with that. I'm using Chrome and is playing nicely.

I love Monster Madness so much. And October/Halloween, for that matter. November 1st is always a bummer because I have to wait another year for this junk.
