In a world full of danger, it pays to be prepared. But when young Nia leaves her precious backpack at home and heads off into the world, she loses more than just her schoolbooks…

This is no ordinary backback – this is V, Nia’s monster bag and her scary little blue guardian, tasked with keeping her safe from the perilous world around her.
As V, you’ll have to catch up to Nia without being seen, avoiding angry citizens, bloodthirsty aliens and the inept military, all of whom want to turn you into a pile of monster mush.

Solve 18 levels packed with puzzles, boss fights and brutal kills and see how the darkly comical story unfolds for Nia and V as you unwittingly start the apocalypse…

really like the arts and music, but the trailer didn't really show what the gameplay looks like. oh well, it's free for PS+ anyway. so I'll just try it myself.

many of us over at the VitaGAF LINE Chat have no idea either but we will see how it goes when the store updates.

hopw GCT follows the Standard Time this week

This seems like one of those PSPlus games that'll surprise me and some other people and be fun. Will give it a try

This is the first SCE-published game made by a Latin American developer (Chilean more specifically) apparently.

Looks wacky, but I can dig the art style. Don't know what the gameplay is like.

It reminds me of that iOS/Android game with a somewhat similarly wacky art style and with little mini-game/puzzle-like gameplay. I don't remember the name though.

Have they said anything about PSTV support?

Looks like it will use the touchscreen as a primary input, so I don't think it would translate well to PS TV.

Wow, uhh, I wasn't too far off with that Zim comparison. Shit gets gruesome. Really enjoying the puzzle gameplay, love the art style.

*Ending Spoilers*
HOLY FUCKING EVANGELION. THAT ENDING. This was waaaay better than I expected, great puzzles and really fun story.
I loved it. Thanks for the awesome game, Iguanabee.

Just beat the game. Loved the story (as much as I understood, at least) but HOLY SHIT the last levels are annoying.

It's like the devs didn't realize they had a great idea on their hands and threw everything out the window for the last 1/4th of the game for some very repetitive puzzles.

By the end of the game, I was just glad it was finally over, which is a shame because I loved the first half.

Spent almost an hour on the final checkpoint. Fuck that part. But I prevailed.

I believe it took me 2~3h to finish the game. Certainly doable in less, if you aren't as impatient as me (impatience kills you here). Really liked this little game, despite the final checkpoint pissing me off and some small glitches (the pause menu stuck once on the top of the screen, blocking something I needed to see, and I got stuck on the credits lol). Sometimes the videos look real low-res/compressed too.

And the artstyle is awesome, as everyone already knows. Pick it up on PS+ and go check it y'all.

That's pretty bad for a PSN rating isn't it?

It depends.

The only one that is very consistent would be non-f2p "big" titles (can't ballpark a figure but any titles more than 100k on first few weeks would be safe assumptions) would very rarely have anything below 3.5 stars.

If it did, there's something wrong somewhere.

But I doubt this counts as a big title.

Wait what, where did this come from? The first and only bit of news I've seen for this game is this OT

It was shown on E3 or something last year, then the next piece of news we got from it was a PS Blog post past month about the release date.

This game really came out of nowhere, huh?

I've played the first few levels. Fantastic art and really great sense of humor. I like the puzzles and suspect there's some good replay value in figuring out how to get people what they want. I wouldn't mind some cheap DLC with more levels.

I like the art and the concept of the game, but this choppy performance really kills my enjoyment with it. There shouldn't be so many slowdowns in a game largely built around timing.

Played the first few levels and am loving it.

Finally something I'll actually play on my Vita after months of disappointing games on PS+.

Anyone care to help me out?, there's a lab (i think), and you need to... i dunno move color sliders to form a circle inside a triangle or some such shit... i'm totally lost there...

I don't know the exact answer, but you have to jump from one guy to another to see the different clues for the different machienes. I think it was blue+ something else

Actually the whole thing i know the first thing to do is to
get the Meat
but other than that, i know nothing

I can only recall one stage with this tip. Might be wrong, of course.
iirc you need to throw the meat at the monster fighting/playing with the football player. His head will drop. Throw the head at the guy beating a monster with a bat, and the bat will drop. Throw the bat at the cooking hobo and the bat will catch on fire. Then throw the lit bat at the guy fighting the monster at the left end of the screen.

Also, there's a trophy if you throw everything throwable to the guy at the left - meat, the not lit bat (it will respawn if you do so), the monster head and the steel chair (make the guy with the bat drop the bat, then he'll pick up a chair. Make him drop the chair like you did for the bat).
