Ar nosurge Plus: Ode To An Unborn Star |OT| Humanity's Last Stand

Alright, I did it. I couldn't get to her in time by killing the enemy in front of her so she kept kicking the shit out of me with her 4 attacks in a row but then I remembered I had a cathode that can make enemies switch row so that worked just fine.

I remember struggling with that fight but I found out I could just slam through the middle row fairly quickly by focusing everything there. I also spammed the heck out of red supplements.

I think my main issue was that I was pretty badly equipped. In that part of the game you can't go to synthesys shops or switch to Delta's side so you're stuck with what you have. Like, Ion didn't have a single thing on her. I'm playing on hard, also. I read that normal was too easy.

I've hit another wall immediately, lol. (
the 8th Dimensional boss
)
I must be missing something either on items effects or how defense is supposed to work. She has 4 attacks and I have 3 defense actions so I can't even get harmonics to lv.1. I can't even consistently break her because I'd have to use one of the special moves that uses the harmonics bar. I don't think I'm underleveled, I should be around lv 40.

Edit: I thought I had synthesized everything but apparently not, maybe I just need some new item.

Edit2: That was it. Breaking her was the key so I needed a few more break-enhancing items.

I think I completed Ion's genometrics' exam like 20 hours later than I should have, lol.
I just got out of Renall's genometrics for the first time so I wanted to try again, I didn't know I was supposed to try the verification again, even if I didn't have all the points, to unlock the 4th test.

Is there a conversation topics guide? I'm missing quite a while and I can't unlock the next ones if I can't find the previous topics. Also, are they missable? I'm almost done with the game.

I don't know if any are missable or not. I remember getting a bunch of the talk topics that I was missing by using Casty/Delta to synthesize stuff I originally made with Ion/Earthes and vice versa. I think visiting all the purification sites with each pair unlocked a few more as well.

I was burning out on all the talking about pointless stuff by the end of the game and I just wanted enough talk topics to get the platinum lol

Wow, that's dumb if true. I only synthesized items with the "right" couple.
Guess I'll try it out later since I'm missing some topics I should apparently get by synthesizing stuff.

Yeah, I did that already. For some of them I'm stuck in a pretty bad place.
Like with Kanon, you can't see it in this pic because it's the event viewer outside the game but I have many topics on all the later levels and I'm stuck on 3.

Edit: Yep, it works. They didn't really think this through.

Yes it's very dumb. Because we definitely need everyone's viewpoint on all of the ridiculous items that have been synthesized lol

I really enjoyed this game but at a certain point, all those damn talk topics became too much. I hope you unlocked as many as you needed/wanted.

I completed Cass and Ion (even though I somehow missed Ion's 1-6 which is supposed to be story related) and got some for the others but by reading the japanese wiki I noticed that some topics must be unlocked before specific triggers in the story so those are gone for good.
But yeah, I was kinda annoyed since I couldn't read certain topics because I wasn't able to unlock more levels but now I managed to at least read everything I had so that's good.

I didn't follow any specific guide and had the majority of topics for most characters.

Things you can do to unlock conversation topics from my experience.
1. Visiting all the purification sites with BOTH couples (Don't miss the "hidden" ones I completely missed the one on the star singers platform that has
alternate world Nelo that you can chat with in the bath
, there's also one in Hanako, one at the place where
Earthes is originally destroyed
, and another one whose name escapes me on that space platform
(not the original location of the planet)
. Sorry that's so vague my mind is drawing blanks on names.

2. Buying specific items from shops

3. Doing certain conversations with other people in purification sites can unlock topics for other pairings.

4. Completing Genometrics.

5. They can be found around the world mainly in towns as collectibles (shiny spots hard to miss).

6. Crafting items with both the "correct" team and the opposite team

7. Progressing the story

8. Using different Song Magic

9. Using your "couples" attack in battle as I like to call it. (you know the one)

10. Collecting all of the Nyuroki

That's all off the top of my head I'm sure i'll come up with something else later.

Do the Genometrics contain anything worthwile story wise? I skipped them until now because it's boring. The main story is nice but Genometrics feel like fillers in anime.

Currently around 20 hours of playtime and at the midpoint of Phase 3.
