Man staying up and catching In Rainbows as it landed out of nowhere, then listening with everyone else is one of my favorite music experiences of all time. I don't think I can wait on a chance with an actual job these days though. :(

But I dunno, at least they're trying compared to just dropping an announcement for TKOL. There's are tiny part of me that thinks this is kind of fun.

People are being a bit ridiculous here. It has literally been a couple of days since this stuff began. Before that, some rumblings of a new album but if you have the first hints of "it's happening" to "release" in this space of a week can you REALLY complain about it being dragged out?

That is if this doesn't go on for too long.

The mysterious bullshit they put us through is always part of the fun for a new Radiohead album. I wouldn't have it any other way, even if all I think about lately is LP9!

The main thing is people are acting like this has been strung out for months when it's literally been a couple of days.

I mean damn... most things these days have announcements of announcements, countdown timers, hype machines getting stoked months in advance.

I... kind of agree. Though maybe I wouldn't have put it so harshly. The album is out when it's out, guaranteed every single one of you will hear about it when it happens. Until then just get on with your lives.

That suggests this is going to be happening over the span of a few days. Of course, it's Tuesday now and was when the post went up after midnight EST/5am UK. Of course, was still Monday on US West Coast when it went up.

EDIT: Oooh, bio for the dude who runs the studio making the video says he was involved for the video for There, There. This should be interesting.

There was another post after that which said the whole thing would be shown tomorrow (posted 18h ago)...but I might be wrong.

But who cares, it's happening!

Oh shit, I love that video. I love anything with that Svankmajer / Quay bros stop motion aesthetic. That particular video kind of reminds me of this video for The Owl Service by Pram.

So yeah, I'm excited about all of this.
