E3 2016 | Snacks and Foods OT

It's that time again! The most wonderful thread of the year!

To get the ball rolling, here is how I've been getting down the past years.

This year:

I'll be getting BBQ on Monday as well.

This year I'm thinking BBQ. Maybe pick up a full rack and lots of pulled pork. Plus the usually chips and energy drinks. Def gonna pick up some old fashioned sour cream donuts.

So what are y'all doing this year for E3 sustenance?

I learned a lesson last year, got way too much and basically left a full pizza.
Think I'm gonna go light this year, tub of pringles, some mixed almonds and some soft baked cookies.

Not be mean or anything...but maybe try something a little more healthier this time around?

Well, his username is Fried Food, and this is his avatar:

I don't think his concerned =]

On topic, i'm thinking about making a brazillian churrasco this year.

From the 2014 thread

Courage said:
3 McGriddles, 2 Cheesy Gordita Crunches, 7 small coleslaws from KFC (these will be distributed throughout the day as snacks), a large mac and cheese from KFC, 1 5 layer burrito, 2 large Baja Blasts, 40 chicken nuggets, chili from Wendys and fries from Wendys

So the same but I'm gonna pass on the chili this time around because I'm on a diet.

Probably just some burritos and water. I'm not going to have time to watch most of the conferences anyway, summer semester is starting when E3 starts :(

I don't generally snack during the show, but if I do, it'll probably be an apple, banana, or Nature Valley bar. Lots of water and occasional coffees though.

Beers (Coopers) + corn chips + pistachio nuts + microwaveable pizzas with extra andchovies added. Salty goods and liquid heaven.

Be watching them all late afternoon here through the non-spoiler thread as in Australia they are on at some pretty crazy hours. Durin work or sleep pretty much.

My dude, I'm pickin' up what you're puttin' down but breh I gotta pass on them coleslaws real talk

You just had a whole box of potato chips in 2010?

I'll probably just grab some Taco Bell or something, I used to go all out but I found that I never get around to eating everything

Going to get two whoppers, two free burritos from Moe's, two medium pizzas with Philly steak meat. On the snack side I'll probably get BBQ chips and a pack of Golden Monkey beer as my beverage.

Buying some chips, dip, and Salsa. Also have veggies and hummus. My girlfriend is bringing popcorn and banana pudding and tea.

Probably Taco Bell, water, some kind of soda (probably Dr Pepper or cherry Coke), and some trail mix. My son may be watching with me this year, since he's starting to get into gaming, so we may end up with a pizza instead of Taco Bell. Kid won't eat tacos.

Pro-tip for all the newly hungry, don't get all salty snacks. You are going to need something sweet. Choco covered pretzels are ridic when you need that rush. Oreos are also next level status.

Those Kettle Chip brand any good?

I never eat or drink anything, just zone out while watching everything lol

They pretty good. For the price you can find better though

Utz Maui BBQ Kettle are the best I've ever had, as far as flavored potato chips go

Ohh shit. My type of thread.

I don't know what I'm having, but I know it's going to be fucking good. I will keep this thread in mind. :p

Pretty tempted to get cookies and what not to snack on during e3. Usually the confrences are right around a meal time. Lunch or dinner so I never really plan a snack.

This time though I have to watch after work (or maybe during) But the cookies here suck... actually I'm not really into sweets all that much in general. Might treat myself to a melon pan ice cream though before the sony confrence

I'm making my "Coaches' Dip".

1 pound Jimmy Dean spicy sausage
2 packages of cream cheese
2 cans of Rotel

Cook the meat in a pan and throw it in a slow cooker with the cream cheese and rotel. Voila! Chips 'n dip that lasts all day...

I can't decide when to start drinking. If I start too early I will be sleepy during sony conference.

I do buy snacks for the conferences but I don't plan these things out. It's just whatever I'm feeling like 20 minutes before the show starts.
