Pokemon Black/White dated in Japan

I can see the NA release being around March (or earlier if the 3DS hits earlier) with the 3DS, maybe some 3DS only features included to help promote the system launch and game release.
 
Pokemon is one of the few series' that still gets me excited even though I don't own the system or console its on.

Bring it on!
 
The text definitely says "I will exceed/overcome the champion" and then the girl running down the street just shouts excuse me!

Presuming that 3DS launches in March, wouldn't it make sense to get Pokemon out for the Holiday season in NA? I know that's a much quicker translation window than we've seen in the past, but it seems like it would be in Nintendo's best interest.
 
Why the hell does Japan get this in september, while we have to wait until next freaking year for this to come out in NA?

I really wish this game would just release for the 3DS. I'm so pumped for it, but I need to buy a new DS to play it. And the 3DS releases around the corner from it, so I don't want to buy a new DS until the 3DS launches. Argh!!

Golden timing, but if they do manage to get it out by the holidays (because of the 3DS) then I won't import the Japanese version.

Oh god, I hate this WEP encryption shit. My Nintendo USB adapter doesn't work anymore and I refuse to switch to WEP. And now I'm missing out on all of those Pokewalker courses!

Huh. Could've sworn someone said it was DSi-enhanced when I peeked in the thread for this a few days ago.

Meh, oh well. If I decide to import and it doesn't work I'll just use my DS Phat.
 
I somehow got lucky and froze at the part where The main boy character is fighting that person people are calling the supposed "Gym Leader" before that "vs" thing popped up.


To me, that area when i froze it looked like you're walking on the walls in the room, and then it moves you to the center, where you then fight that person.
 
Awesome, we'll have it by March or April of next year. I love how what appears to be the rival is decked out in black and white clothes, with a grayish hat and skin.

It is DSi enhanced, or at least, they're using that feature to region lock the game (I wouldn't be surprised given how pissy Nintendo can get with people importing Pokemon). The TWL product code on the box tells us that. JP versions can be played on a JP DSi, or any region of Lite/standard DS.

Ontopic, the games might use a DSi cartridge (Twilight code on packaging) , so for those who are importing, be careful if you have a U.S. DSi.
