My turn-offs are men who play an excessive amount of videogames, whine about everything and feel entitled to whatever they want with no consequences.

Define excessive.

I mean, I play a shitload of videogames, but I have other hobbies/interests as well, plus I never once said "I'm sorry, I can't come since I'm playing videogames right now."

I have a fairly liberal definition of excessive. If I come home from work and you haven't moved from your spot on the couch nor even greet me -- that's excessive.
 
When someone doesn't show respect or appreciation towards their family, it really rubs me the wrong way. My household has always been all kinds of screwed up - so when I'm over at a woman's family's house for dinner and they demean or insult their family members (and its obviously not a joke or something close) I mentally check out on the spot.

I also don't get the hate for cheaters - You don't know what was going on with their previous relationship... I don't have any sympathies for cheaters, but they did what the did and if everything else is great, I can definitely live with it.

- Hygiene. I'd prefer that a woman uses disposable wipes instead of toilet paper. I can't understand how anyone can still use plain toilet paper. I haven't for like 8 years.

- Intolerant attitude. If you have anything negative to say about any certain race, sex, sexual preference, religion, etc., you can't be with me.

- Dependence on makeup.

- Obesity. Sorry, but weight matters, a lot. I need the person I love to be around for a while, and weight is something we have control over. Not doing anything about poor health shows me something about how forward thinking you are.

Edit: I don't know why I said dated. I ended up marrying the chick and having a kid. Now divorced and I have custody of him.

- Don't let anyone treat you like shit. Why should I be nice to you if others in your life aren't held to the same standard?

- Menstruation is not an excuse to be an asshole. If your pains are so great that you must be a miserable shit and lash out at the slightest provocation, then you can GTFO for the duration of your insanity.
 
Immaturity is now the biggest one for me. It makes me feel like a parent instead of a boyfriend. I once dated a 22 year old in college who had the brain of a 16 year old girl . We fought constantly and I told her on several occasions to grow up. At one point, during a very heated argument, she asked me if I was ready to split so she could know whether or not to change her relationship status on Facebook. That really helped me feel assured that my dumping her was the right decision.

Seems to me that this would disqualify about 90% of women. I find they just like to vent. Open their mouths, talk about what the hell's upsetting them, and then move on. As men our natural inclination is to try and fix shit, but I've learned from personal experience that you just have to listen a lot of the time and then give them a hug, and then it's all good.

I spent many years banging my head against a wall in frustration over this exact issue though....
