So it's Bulls-Pacers, Heat-Sixers, Celtics-Knicks, Magic-Hawks right?

Fuck it, Knicks will upset the Celtics in 6 games. We'll do it because...fuck you, I don't care about logic. All I have is hope, and that's all I need.

If we beat the Celtics and then the Heat beat the Sixers, does that mean that the next series would be Knicks-Heat? If that's the case, then that's the other reason why we'll upset the C's - Stern will make sure to give the people what they want. :)

God please let this happen. My hate for Boston grows every passing moment.

I think the Celtics can give the heat a tougher time in the second round, so here's hoping they can return to form once the post season begins. I suspect that KG, piece and ray will turn it up another level and the defensive intensity will definitely be there.

Too bad the knicks couldn't play the Heat in the first round, that would've been a fun match-up. Epic fail by Celtics in the last few weeks.

Lol, its either this or they carve us up in preparation for the Heat. Honestly ill be happy if the Knicks fight and get a win, game 3 should be epic.

Look at the face that Westbrook makes here!
That was one of the few nice plays in the ugliest game I've watched in a while.

Glad Russ broke out of that mini-slump, he was playing Jonny Flynn-level ball for a couple of games there.

I thought a guy had to play X number of games with a team to be playoff eligible?
He played 12 games with the Suns and 7 games with the Bucks. But I don't think it matters. All he had to be is signed before a certain deadline with another team. Eddy Curry is playoff eligible, too.

Damn guys, Saturday it starts, I can't fuckin wait.

You're that excited about speculation about the 2011-2012 Jazz team? Cool! So do you think we should move CJ Miles? I do.

Oh, and it starts Thursday, actually.

for all the talk about how tough some of the 1st round matchups are, I''m betting all top 4 seeds will advance. Mavs probably the only possibility to get upset and even that is a long shot.

Yeah, I got an idea for the offseason thread. I'll have that up for us losers when the season ends.

When does the NBA playoff schedule get posted?

EDIT: Nevermind, I forgot that the West wasn't set yet. Probably won't get posted til Thursday.

@AlexKennedyNBA The Portland Trail Blazers will sign Earl Barron for the playoffs, according to sources close to the situation.
Really?

Philly's only chance whatsoever is if Iguodala has what would have to be the greatest 2-way playoff series of all time.

AI9 has made many - if not all - of the top wing players in the league disappear all season long, but his offense doesn't match up to his defensive contributions. Iggy in God mode on both sides of the ball would go a long way towards a most improbable upset...as would a hypothetical Elton Brand resurgence.

...but we know Elton Brand only gets it in these days when he's playing the Knicks, who have no front line or defense :x

Oh, damn those NBA commercials, well shit Thursday can't come soon enough. Lol, I don't even know where to begin with the Jazz. I knew they needed to do something when they had both Williams, and Boozer, but now? Hell... No idea.

By 2013, we could have

With JE, Millsap, and a guy acquired for Harris and Al off the bench. That could be top 3 in the West...Hopefully Jazz can get some lottery luck going.

That's Philly's problem. Their offense is dogshit. Their like the bizarro Knicks

Charlie Villanueva is going to lose SO MUCH MONEY in fines. That shit yesterday was amazing.

Give Philly's coach D'Antoni and the Knicks Collins. Sounds fair.

Which one of those pictures was supposed to be Jimmer?

I think he meant his offseason starts thursday. Playoffs actually start Saturday.

You have Chicago losing to Indiana?

Definitely possible, but I would still put my money on the Bulls.
You sound like a Bulls fan that has been watching them for the past decade or so. You're cautiously pessimistic, and thus, a real Bulls fan.

If Rondo keeps playing like fucking shit you guys have a chance. But it's not gonna be easy.

And yes, Knicks/Heat would be next =)

You can't imagine how hyped I was when we got Ben Wallace and swept Miami that one year.

I loved the Skiles-era Bulls. This team we got this year is a Rich Man's version of that team. Focused on Defense, but with one person who can go crazy on O. Luckily it's D-Rose instead of Ben Gordon nowadays.

Funny about the ESPN votes. Bucher voted Rose MIP and MVP. He's such a Rose Stan.

Dr. Jack voted Bogans DPOY.

I don't think he's pessimistic, it's just being realistic. This bulls team has not won a playoff game together and the star hasn't been out of the first round.

4-4-4? No way, maybe 7-7-7.

Keith Bogans and Grant Hill got votes for DPoY...

I still remember when Ben Wallace made all those crucial free throws at the last second to clinch that series.

If we win a championship, it will mean more to me than any MJ 'ship. I watched this bitch from the ground up. I was born into MJ's run.

How old are you? I don't remember any of the first three rings because for the last one I was like 4. By '98 as a kid it seemed like the playoffs were just a formality for the bulls to get another championship.

24. First one I remember well was the John Paxson three to win vs. the Suns. I remember the rest, but not in incredible detail. Not like the way I remember the Bulls losing to the Wizards in the 04-05 playoffs.

This season, I'm enjoying every minute of it. Even if we don't win the 'ship, I will be eternally grateful for the fact that D-Rose willed us back into the NBA conversations. It's nice to experience this as an adult.

Yeah, same here. I honestly wasn't even in this country until 97.
