Out now on Android Market.

Seems pretty solid from the 30 sec I could try it out now. Good GFX, wacky story, nice sound.

Game has English and Japanese in it, so safe to play already (as if you couldnt play a shooter in Japanese)

Will try more when I get out from work :)

Oh yeah it's only 1.99.
So sorry Iwata-san!

It controls good too on touch screen, main weapon has auto lock which is nice.

If only Sega could port Panzer Dragoon (swoon).

Looks good.
Shame I could never get into the 360 game.(probably because of the controls)

I only played the demo on 360.

Wasn't there a Mega CD one too, or 32X.

Wow, looks really nice. This may be the first game I actually pay for on my phone. Would it run smoothly on an Epic?

edit:

It's selling for $2.99 on the market.

Purchase aborted >:(

Oh man I'm a silly Euro!

Dunno about Epic, but it runs buttersmooth on the Galaxy S2...

Of course it runs buttersmooth on a freakin' S2. It just looks so nice, I'm not sure an OG Galaxy class phone would be able to handle it. Well, I'll find out in a few minutes. Downloading now.

Runs and looks great on my (overclocked) Epic. The onscreen directional controls blow dick, but once I set up for gyro/tilt it was all good. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Kosma.

A little info:

You can set select between English and Japanese text, but as far as I can tell all VO is English.
You can change the tilt sensor sensitivity and invert the controls in options.
There's a campaign mode, free mission mode, and "achievements".

Yeah.
It was a 2D shooter though.

Technically 2.5. You had to avoid the backgrounds as they came at you, from a rail-shooting perspective of sorts. Very unique game.

The PS2 Silpheed was 2d overhead.

The 360/this game is nothing like it. It's more like Wing COmmander.

Shame I never got to play it, it did look fun.

Got to mission 3 so far and I think it will get more challenging from here on, with big battleships etc. So far it has been too easy.

I did really like Project: Sylpheed. I'll have to check this out.

Edit: Android only? Fie.

I'll have to make my roommate download this on his phone.
