California cops today arrested one of the men seen in a viral video committing an unprovoked assault on a 42-year-old Sacramento woman.

Rasaan Zawadi, 21, was busted after the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office obtained an arrest warrant charging him with assault with a “gang enhancement.” A police spokesman noted that detectives believe that the October 1 attack was somehow gang related.

I hate that site too but it's not their fault. Let's not forget about individual responsibility here. All they are really doing is shining a flashlight on the fact that the world contains really shitty people.


Also, I think I hate some of the people in the comments section as much as I hate the guys in the video.

Glad to see the cops one of the people involved though. Hope he doesn't get off or get something light, but 'assault with a “gang enhancement' doesn't sound too serious.
 
People put ignorant videos on Youtube too, I don't see anyone suggesting Youtube should be taken offline or that it "promotes" stupid behavior.

People post ignorant crap on GAF and get banned. There is such a thing called moderation. YouTube videos are also taken down. This site disables the comments.

Yeah, but the fact is it happened regardless of it being put up on Worldstar or not. Ignoring something doesn't make it go away. If anything, it helps law enforcement figure out who the fuckers are, otherwise they probably would have gotten away with it.

It is just a medium for videos. The content on there might be trash, but it is just another video site. The thing I would question is the people who put the crap up there. If anything WSHH is just a reflection of life outside of the norms. I think it is a good thing to educate some people that this shit does happen and it the world is not the utopia that some would have you believe. The fact that this shit is on WSHH doesn't mean it doesn't happen. You should be outraged at the act, not the fucking web site.

There are many less outrageous videos on the site, but they get no views. Because that is not what people are interested in. They want to see the freak show. Hell, we all do. A video of a kid saying a speech is going to get a hell of a lot less views than a kid rapping to a song talking about some NC-17 sexual acts.
