Rob Renzetti leaving sucks, he was great doing the storyboards. That doesnt mean the show is going to start to suck, even much less if the director of the second season and the best writters stay.

AJ is perfectly fine being a supporting character like in the last episode.
Still no episode for Fluttershy is the real crime here.

No Fluttershy or Dash in these last two episodes (outside the brief Dash appearance).

Best ponies sit out to give other ponies time to shine. Pegasus ponies are so kind.

Pretty mediocre :(

I like all episodes if FiM, but I'd say this one is down there with Over A Barrel/Owl's Well That Ends Well for me.

But it's okay, it would be unreasonable to expect every episode to live up to Lesson Zero/Luna Eclipsed.

Last two episodes have been a bit dull :/
Anyone notice Derpy's appearance? She was a child during AB's hoop performance who was not otherwise in the crowd except for that one shot.

One of the Pony diseases Twilight mentioned was "the trots". Huh, I thought this show was above toilet humor (doesn't remember any other instance). Then again, it's enough of a Pony-based pun that kids won't notice.
