That seems kinda ridiculous, I don't think they expect us to recognize the beginning of national anthems and associate it with 3 second midi samples. Everything else has been pretty google-able.

I don't think the sound samples have anything to do with national anthems. I listened to all of them and couldn't find my own (my flag is on the list) so I doubt people would be able to recognize them all. The sound files do have random drumbeats in them though, I wonder if their position might mean something.

mine mentions the periodic table, so it may have to do with the 2 letter country codes and perhaps the atomic number?

as for the drumbeats, they're likely 0s of some sort.
