Transformers Prime also on Wii U ! GO Optimus GO !

It appears the 3DS version is the lead SKU so uhhh...

It's very interesting that they decided to do this instead of a port of Fall of Cybertron.

I didn't know this game was made by two Japanese outsourcing studios. Not expecting much at all from this given what these studios' have developed before (it's mostly B-titles, though Now Productions have made some ok puzzle/language games). If this speaks for what Activision is intending to bring mostly to Wii U I can't say I'm a happy camper.

I think Animated was far better written, unfortunately.

Agreed, Prime is OK, but I personally prefer Animated a lot more.
Personal ranking of TF animated series: Beast Wars>Animated>Prime

If the 3DS ver. is good I'll recommend it to my friend since he has a 3DS/

I think Animated was far better written, unfortunately.

Prime is pretty good, it got a lot of flak for being close to the Bayverse but it turned out pretty darn good. Anyone in doubt should just give the intro arc, Darkness Rising and Orion Pax episodes a watch and you should be pleasantly surprised.

Transformers Animated was sooooo good i almost cried when it was cancelled. It was one giant fanservice after another to G1. What made it great though was it didn't need the fanservice to be good, the writing and storyline was so great on its own and the toys kicked ass.

What a positive harbinger for Activision's support on Wii U.

I recall reading and hearing that the War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron both factored into the backstory for the Transformers Prime show. If that is true I wonder how much will be presented in the new game and if it will have influence on the quality of the game.

Also Transformers Prime is a pretty well done show in terms of story and characterizations. Don't let the designs put you off. The "kiddy" Transformers show is the Transformers: Rescue Bots show that also airs.

Not liking your increasing negativity towards the Wii U schuelma.

He has a point. We have barely seen anything from the two biggest third party publishers and tt also doesn't help that the biggest games they have this fall seem to be neglecting the WiiU. I mean, It could turn out differently but it doesn't give people much hope so far.

I don't particularly get the love for Animated, but that's mostly because I hated the portrayal of Bumblebee and Optimus as well as the voice acting (Sari excluded, of course).

Anyway, I quite like Transformers Prime, so I'll be getting it for some system.

Not a looker this one ...
