For 2,50€ (plus DLC if you wish) even the Singleplayer content alone is worth it, but the MP which I put hundreds of hours into is downright amazing. The mindgames, not unlike chess, that will put your opponents under pressure can be so damn rewarding, that its hard not to recommend this game once you understood it.
There are also tons of modes, tons of singleplayer maps, a COOP campaign and endless ways to customize the matches you want to play.

Yep, new campaign maps + coop mode + new stuff do customize MP with.

lol, because I loved the idea of updating my avatar with my ingame progress. I might change to something else after I am finally done with SC in... 4-5 years.

Nice thread, Toma! One of the best strategy games released in the last several years. It's totally accessible, but has a very high skill ceiling. Also, it's pretty and has pleasant music. Everyone should give it a shot, at least.
 
Sold on the red DLC. Will buy 2, and that would be $4. If i get the complete pack for $7, can i split the pack?
ie: gift 2x base game, keep 1x red , gift the other red ?

I don't think so. Usually complete packs are all tied together so you'd get two seperate complete packs. The DLC does sound pretty sweet though. Considering splitting a complete pack if anyone is interested?

You like strategy games? Or chess? You like being tactical in games? Then yes, get it. If you don't, well... obviously if you dont like strategy games at all, dont get it.

Actually, I've got a free giftable copy of Frozen Synapse (got it during the Holiday Sale). Since everyone I know already has it, I can gift it to the first person that'll drop me their Steam e-mail address via PM.

You act like you've never seen hollywood's "Hack-O-Vision" before!

Really fun game, should spend more time with it since I never finished campaign and only did so many online matches. Might have to jump on that RED DLC, that's a nice price for something that came out only a few months back.

You miiight not be able to do that today.Currently 600 people on the servers and the servers are going apeshit. Might need to wait 1-2 days.

That's understandable. I realised I should have bought the complete pack since I also wanted the DLC along with the soundtrack and 2 copies.

I bought this, and it seems pretty neat so far, but dear lord, the tutorial does a horrible job of explaining the mechanics.
 
Played through the tutorial. Name is Wario64 if you want to totally kill a newbie. I'm on Texas server if it matters. I should probably be on UK though since it has more ppl?

Yeah, usually the Texas server was empty. It might be easier right now to get games going on Texas though, since UK1 is swamped and will lag. Surprise you even could login. I still cant.

Bought the expansion. Already have 16 hours on the base game but the game is amazing so ill probably jump back in.
 
Great game, awesome pick up and play potential. They really should do an IOS/android version.. the concept is built for it.
 
Nice thread Toma! I picked up the Red dlc today. This is a seriously amazing game and everyone should try it if they like tactical or strategy games. I haven't played multiplayer before though, maybe I'll try a match.
