I wonder if the updated PhysX drivers in this release will help with the performance issues in BL2 since the release of the Captain Scarlett DLC?

Let me know if you find out about the BL2 Scarlett issue. I got a big slowdown with Physx in Oasis areas.

Is the issue I had a couple nights ago, where any and all catch-a-ride vehicles suddenly started clipping through the ground and into an endless black void related to the new issues? I don't have the new DLC but I imagine a title update could still affect it.

Apparently the fix for my issue was to turn PhysX down to low, and that seemed to work. I was playing co-op with a friend and his did the same thing until I, the host, got it fixed. He kept his setting on High and was fine.

Ahhhhh why the hell is Dragon Age 2 still some kind of a benchmark. Or why was it ever one in the first place.

Slightly OT, but I have a 560m and have been running 285.67 for about a year now. Haven't updated since hearing a while back that a driver update was choking 560m cards. Anyone more knowledgeable than me know whether it's cool to update to 306.97?

You should definitely update - I think that driver came out before Adapative VSync and FXAA right? Those two are worth having on any card.

There is a performance patch in the works at Gearbox, in addition to the fix for DLC PhysX stuttering.

The DLC performance issues are related to PhysX settings baked into the levels by the developer, which is why you only experience stuttering when playing on DLC maps. Gearbox are working on the problem and will hopefully release a fix soon.
