Too bad. The biggest thing about that rumor was the hope that Sony puts some fire under SE's ass and this game is released prior to 2016.

This is the best realistic outcome for Sony, really. Regardless of how PS4 does in Japan at launch it will always have these two phoenix downs to ensure it'll outlive Wii U and Xbone (which will be stillborn anyway), and there'll be a ton of Japanese games that will follow them.

So basically all the games that matter are on both systems.
Really comes down to controller preference and online service preference to me.
Exclusive stuff like Titanfall, Halo, and Killer Instinct actually interest me more than Killzone, Infamous and the like.

The damage has been done so it doesn't really matter if these two games are on the XB1.
Square has a deep history with the PlayStation brand so these games being at the Sony conference was more significant than something like MGSV being at the MS conference.
